Well said, Military-cum-Mullah has been annihilating the image of Islam in general and Pakistan in particular and socio-political scenario has been luminously sheltered by well known politician and human right activist with his poetic sense, where he figure out very deep insight of Pakistani politics but contemptuous about PPP which was almost equal collaborator to empower Mullahs and Al-Qaida in Afganistan and Waziristan.

Nice peotry. But the Crual Generals and terrrible dictators and the puppet establishment have no heart and no fear of what you or we say.I doubt Pakistan Army and its generals are agents of Satan. Since he is not a strong poet therefore could be weaknesses in his poetry but he conveyed excelently what he 's thinking about his motherland and its people.

He is one of those people who have brought Musharraf B***d to this point otherwise he had planned to rule this nation like Hosni Mubarak for decades with the help of moderate Gujratis and libral Altaf Bhai of London.

This man is fighting for our rights and for a democratic dispensation in Pakistan. How dare you denigrate him. Who do you support for Pakistan's future? Mullah Omar? Benazir's 12 year old son? Musharraf?

That is what so disappointing about him. All this time he was on a very high pedestal for me for all his sacrifices. Now he show he is nothing but an old style paki pinko. All rich kids erasing trying to erase their guilt by saying nice things for the poor while living and benefiting from privilege. No better than the bearded black marketers and war profiteers who try to erase their guilt buy donating to mosques and maddarsahs.

So what's so terrible about writing a little (mawkish) poetry? It doesn't change the legitimacy of his actions. Politicians aren't perfect God knows, but you take what you can get, and if this man is fighting for our Constitution I don't see the need to take cheap shots at his poetry.

when did I take a cheap shot at the poetry? Its the ideas that I find contradictory. did you not read what I started with his struggles are commendable, but people here are praising him as a package and you need to make the distinction. His current position on the Justice issue should be supported fully, but don't forget that he has never apologized or explained why when he was the law minister he kept all the judges provisional so he could keep them on a leash.
