These guys also started 2 years earlier than Metallica... The "Friend At Large" (Headbangers Ball) back in 94 mistakenly said their 5th album was their 2nd, dope. They got overlooked a lot. One of my all time fav's!
I have no idea why this band wasn't HUGE. This is one of those albums that is just so amazing from start to finish and yet not too many people know about this band!
their new album' simple mind condition' is awesome. its been out over a year here in europe and apparently wasnt realeased in america? can this be true? and why no videos??
damn, these guys rock jut discovered them today while veiwing some wonderfull witchfinder. this band is like doom and a splash of thrash it sounds great
Takes me way back...All metal fan here same time I was listening to trouble and candlemass I was listening to sodom and exodus..at the same time christian death and poi dog pondering as well as deicide and napalm death...I had to mention exodus because we all know who was in exodus befor metaICKa
What a great metal band. First 2 albums were the slowest and doom filled recordings since fucking Sabbath. Check out Suoershine if you like Trouble. The guitarist (Bruce Franklin) is a member and the 1 album is great.
THE MIGHTY TROUBLE! Saw them in Boston twice in 1990. My buddy Dave and I hung out with them after the show both times. Super cool guys. They thought it was great that we drove down from Maine to see them. TROUBLE WILL ALWAYS RULE!
they may not have been a "Christian" band, but their lyrics were very pro God. It doesn't matter what label you use, it matters what message you are sending to people. That's the bottom line.
I dont really see that as a problem whan the music is this good, they never came across as particularly preacy anyway. And the more religious aspect of their writing seemed to lessen as time went on. When it comes to religion and Christianity in metal, back in the day Sabbath wrote 'After Forever' and both Bobby Leibling and Victor Griffin of Pentagram became Christians, and if there is anyone cooler than those bands I'll eat my Motorhead t shirt.
I never said that they were Christian, but it proves that its not always black and white in regards to what a metal band sings about, and that having a more "spiritual" message, or doing something a little different makes no difference when you make music as moving and powerful as Trouble, who can be appreciated by people of all faiths (or no faith in my case) and even by those people who enjoy pagan or even satanic bands.
The first song I ever heard from Trouble. Head Bangers Ball played it, and the very next day I bought the cassette and must of listened to the album 100 times that day, great stuff.
I've been trying to post the address for the official Trouble website but evidently youtube is set up so you can't post websites in comments, which is fucking stupid. It won't allow me to post it on any of Trouble's vids, regardless of who uploaded them. Message me if you are interested. I'm just a fan trying to help support this awesome band, that's all.
Awesome song, and band. You'll all be happy to know that TROUBLE did make into "The Encyclopedia Of Heavy Metal." These dudes were very talented, underrated and overlooked. I think alot of it was because grunge(cringe) got so popular at about the same time they were starting to gain recognition. Fucking grunge caused many record labels to drop or neglect alot of great metal bands.
Hotter than hell, I'd really like to c these guys are they still playing and where, they are their own genre, can u dig their crazy beat. The drug of choice "Psychotic Reaction" the old man dies!
Yeah, I have this recorded on VHS myself. That was way back when the Headbangers Ball, and MTV was fucking cool and actually played music videos. Imagine that. Awesome band, killer song. Just saw R.I.P. also on here, another kick-ass song. Very underrated and overlooked band.
He kinda reminds me of Robert Plant, but much heavier. Always loved this band. I was describing them once to a friend and said they were kinda like Black Sabbath meets Led Zepplin, but heavier.
great stuff the very best in doom metal.i mean listen that bass ploding all the way thru,Riick Wartell and Bruce Franklin are guitar gods>.Praise be the mighty Trouble.

Gee, I wonder where Metallica stole their "Enter Sandman" from...
I mean, Kirk Hammet DID get credit for writing "Enter Sandman," but you have to ask yourself:
Has Kirk ever written a song or gotten credit for writing a song for Metallica? NO.
James and Lars probably went: "Sure, let Kirk get credit for this one. We didn't write it anyway!! hahahahaha."

just 'cos sabbath wrote after forever doesn't mean the band was christian. It gave them an ambiguous appeal, both dark & spiritual

KORY CLARKE joins TROUBLE
Amidst many rumors it has been announced earlier today that
KORY CLARKE, of WARRIOR SOUL will be the new front man
effective immediately.
The news comes as the band returns to their Chicago homes
following a successful European Tour.
