Humans are biological machines, it's all very much the same apart from what we're made of. The only real difference is our level of complexity, the worlds fastest super computer can only simulate small sections of the human brain in real time.. but just wait until computers can simulate the entire thing in real time, then you'll begin seeing how computers can 'think' like us.

I appreciate what you're saying and agree with 99% of it. All I'm saying is that the concept of thinking is something we associate with living things. I never like referring to any of the robots I make (or any other for that matter) as thinking, it seems wrong. It's a very, very complex topic that has many controversial areas. Sentience associated with robotics is mind-boggling.

I agree and I think in the coming decades this topic will become even more and more controversial.. and it's animatronics like this which will help the average population adapt easier if 'mechanical sentience' were to ever arise. Even if that's not your intention with your work, I think it's still important so props to you and those like you for helping give androids a more familiar appearance. :) I for one would love to see humans and machines coexist.

You're correct in that a robot can store data that a human has programmed it with, but the concept of it knowing something that it doesn't WANT us to know is nonsense. In the words of Newton Crosby from Short Circuit 1986 "It's a machine, Schroeder. It doesn't get pissed off, it doesn't get happy, it doesn't get sad, it doesn't laugh at your jokes...IT JUST RUNS PROGRAMS".

@MarshFacev2 Computers can think, They Put those types of system component in advanced artificial intelligence. Most are used for Minor things at the time and are Classified but there are some Examples of it in use today. Such as Video games. If Halo is one where if you hope in the Passenger seat of a Warhog and The A.I. Drives It ain't on a Rail like most people thing, the A.I. is making Driving decisions (Thinking)

To start off with, you can't type properly. And you are wrong anyway. You are sort of correct in that games etc simulate driving/flying conditions, but all they are doing is making calculations based on input variables (i.e. the gamer pressing buttons, moving joysticks etc). Even though there are multiple outcomes to the program the game (or robot) is running, they can all be pre-determined and controlled by the creator. Absolutely no "thinking" going on.

Now as for the Video Game A.I. it maybe programed to do say 1 of 5 outcomes but it has to make a Decision as to what move to make. for example if your playing Chess Against the Computer it has to make a Decision where to move it's peaces on the bored. it may be a Basic program but it still thinks even if it's only set to think about one thing...Winning Chess.

Are you being sarcastic and hate it completely, or are there parts that you actually like? If you're interested, I've made a more sophisticated robotic head that is actually meant to look like a robot (sort of what you're describing) its on my channel under "Interactive Robotic Head". Also, I was about 13 when I made this.

@MarshFacev2 No I was being serious. Hard to get across what I wanted to say in such a small comment space. I was trying to bring up this idea that any kind of robot made to look human always looks weird or creepy, the uncanny valley. But when you see an equally engineered robot thats made to look like a robot, it looks brilliant. So I was trying to say your engineering here is great but its unfortunate that you chose a human head mask. Hope that makes sense better than my previous comment.

I've been interested in making things from a very young age and simply built up from the previous thing I made. I started with LEGO and progressively made more complex things from that point on. Obviously basic principles are taught or researched (soldering, electronic circuits, using machinery etc) but I use no actual guides or instructions to make a particular thing. Everything I make is designed and constructed purely by me.

Are you using a core mold for your skin or just doing a latex dwell in the negative? The skin tends to wrinkle like it's hollow, and not conforming to the underskull.
