  • Thank you for saying that. That is the greatest repayment you could have made to us. We, too, feel blessed by the gifts of our insights. Let us all enjoy the increase they constantly generate in our learning! Also, what a blessing to experience that it is an endless stream! Joyfully, Hanna Moog and Carol K. Anthony

  • I found your I Ching books as some of the most clearest explanations in English that I have ever seen. Someone who can really unlock the inner meaning of the 'I'. How can I repay you ever for doing this? Thanks, your books are so clearly explained like muddy water that has been given time to settle, now I can see my face through its side again. Very good work and service.

  • fudog186: The website where you can purchase the oracle sticks is mentioned at the end of the video. Hanna

  • Hanna...how does one go about purchasing the sticks created by Dominique?

  • @fudog186, links are not allowed here so replace [dot] with a . :-)

  • I was never a spiritual person, but I read Philip Dick's The Man in The High Castle, which frequently mentioned the I Ching. I find it very intriguing, and I wish to see if this really works.

  • I am not familiar with that book, but I do know that the I Ching works when you consult it from a real need. Why don't you try it out and see how it relates to your personal need? - Hanna

  • @hannamoog It seems to be working so far. Thanks for the video.

  • @Prodigiousguy8 That's a great book, as I was mid way in it Bush gave his speech about going to Mars. Everything of PDK's that I've read had a way of bending consciousness so you wernt really sure which reality was true.

  • To continue, I would like to highlight the difficulty I have in accepting the cosmic help. How can God/the cosmos/ nature be credited with helping, when you look at the tradegy in Haiti last year, of the tsunami in indonesia before that. How can the cosmic way be given credit for the good yet wash its hands of the bad? I have suspended my dis-beliefs and I find the I ching good, but I cannot blindly accept that it is entirely real. If someone could help me on this I would really appreciate it

  • The I Ching, as we, C.Anthony and I, understand it, shows us the Cosmos as a self-correcting system of harmonious principles. When we violate them by creating ideas that are not in harmony, we create a fate, either individually or collectively. The fate has multiple purposes: to bring us back to our senses, and back to earth and give us the opportunity to reflect on our mistaken thinking. (See Hexagram 51, Shock.) Fate protects the harmonious Cosmic order like an invisible brick wall.

  • @hannamoog Thank You for your explanation Hanna. I will have to carry on with an open mind, and not seek to point blame at any one thing. To learn what can be learned from personal involvement with the I Ching is something that should be considered by everyone. The wisdom contained in this book is very real, I have no doubt about that. Thank you for creating it.

  • I have bought the iching book in the video, and the guide to the iching that accompanies it. And I am finding it to be very insightful, and it seems to be pointing out things that would have otherwise taken me a long time, if ever, to figure out and understand. But the reason I write here now is that I have one hold up with it thus far, and that is the concept of cosmic help. To me it coincides with the difficulty I have with believing in God's help, or any other form of supernatural help..

  • You take the power out of you hands with the i-ching or tarot.......creative visualisation is the key to making your future....the source sends to you what you think about...

  • I quite agree about exploring the relevant meaning. Our book "I Ching, The Oracle of the Cosmic Way" contains a unique method of communicating with the Sage, the voice that speaks through the I Ching. With the help of this method the user can put forth hypotheses re the intended message and receive Yes/No answers in the manner of 'warm,' 'hot,' or 'cold,' 'very cold.' Have you tried it out? — Hanna

  • The I Ching can best be understood when we consult it because we have a deep need. It replies on the level of our deepest feelings. By contrast, when we only approach it with our intellect, we are on a different wave length, and that is when we find it hard to understand.

I hope you find this helpful. — Hanna

  • Im really trying to understand the I ching ... i find it very hard

  • @clickswitchh

My advice is to not try to understand it with your mind, but rather see what in the hexagram (or paragraph from a hexagram) that seems particularly relevant (maybe it is only one sentence in a paragraph) and that resonates with you. If you have our book, it describes how you can then investigate further whether you are on the right track in understanding it. Our method allows you to develop a greater understanding.

  • If this video is to demonstrate HOW to contruct the Hexagrams using the 3 coin method, then that's fine. However, the title suggest something else! This video DOES NOT demonstrate how to consult the I Ching (Yijing). The process is far more intricate and involved and requires an understanding of the primary & related hexagrams, the nuclear hexagram and the moving line(s) which may or may not be contradictory. Also, what to do if there are no moving lines.

  • @ALEKHINE1927 It cannot be the subject of a ten minute video to explain in detail what is involved when we consult the I Ching. What I demonstrated was the technical aspect of how to obtain an answer. As to the various relationships between hexagrams and trigrams I, personally, would not put the emphasis on that aspect. What counts for me is a sincere desire to understand the I Ching's message. No moving lines? If you post this question again, I will have more space to reply. — Hanna

  • @hannamoog The technical aspect of obtaining an answer is straight forward enough which you have demonstrated. However, in my education of the I Ching, in order to help understand the answers/imagery

requires what I stated in my comments. If your way works for you, then fine. But I like to dig deep and question further and explore all the relevant processes to extract the meaning given.

  • Thank you I really appreciate that

  • Hi there,

there is no pre-determined value attributed to either side of the coin. You can define that for yourself. The main thing is that you then stick with your definition. Hanna

  • How do you tell would side is heads are tales on the iching coin

  • well done!
