Along with Miles in 1949 in N.Y.playing 'Birth of the Cool',Hank Williams last concert,The Dolls at Max's,Suicide in Belguim 77',Cluster playing 12 hours in Black Forest in 70',Little Richard in the South 1954,this was a career defining gig!

@misfitsfan28, I agree that the guitar playing is good, but it's very generic and uninspired. It's just standard three-chord rock and roll played faster and with a bit more distortion. When I say "the could barely play" I mean that they only played very basic, predictable rock and roll riffs, not that they didn't know how to play at all. It's still great music either way!

Even Sid knew this; he asked Lemmy to teach him to play bass, with the words: "I can't play bass" - to which Lemmy replied: "I know". He was a character, but there's a good reason you can't hear the bass in this video - it's tuned down, so you can't hear Sid's "musicianship".

Sorry to say this. But there was no bass sound there! Only drums, guitar and vocals.... Sid Vicious was fake playing.... like when a singer lipsyncs. He may have been a legend.... but as a bass player he was a fake. He was like a poster boy for punk..... nothing more. All image.... no talent. What a waste!!!!

For everyone saying they sucked, or Sid sucked, well in my opinion I think that was the point. They were like trashy, garbage punk, so I think they're point was to sound sloppy and messy, like they just don't give a fuck. Their music fits their attitude. They're amazing. <33 :)
