Haha. That carbon fiber trim is SO cheesy. I've got a full kit of it for my 2011 SX4 Hatch which I will never install. It'll just hang in my garage gathering dust because it looks so much like poo.
btw, you're interacting with ABS anyways no matter if you have big brakes or not. This is an ABS standard vehicle... The cruise control also has nothing at all to do with wheels or brakes. It works off of the ECU...
If only this turbo kit was factory authorized (it wasn't), I'd consider one!
More Suzuki dealers should do this to attract enthusiast minded buyers an to attract an showoff what this car can do! Suzuki has some good models and the sx4 can be fun. Show it off!
ok why did he point out the fact that non cruise control is better because the big brake kit is powerful? unless its a distronic radar or laser based system that monitors the distance between the suzuki and the vehicle in front of it and will apply the brakes to maintain that distance, one has nothing to do with the other. when the car slows down as when going down hill, the car simply coasts and if its an auto it will downshift for engine braking. just say you modified a base model... dont lie
Where can you get some of these upgrades and will they fit the 2008 model? I've seen that same or similar exhaust manifold on other SX4 upgrades, but no source for the parts.
Yes, Creepy, it can be applied to the 2010 model! I am sure that the results would be even better than what we have here. That being said, the one that you see is now $16,988 which is an even better opportunity than what we orignally had!
That's an outstanding overall package. Three questions - 1) What is the horsepower rating after the turbo set up? 2) Do you have a printout of the ET numbers from a racer track? 3) Is the powertrain still covered by Suzuki's 7 yr / 100,000 mile warranty?
If other Suzuki dealers around the U.S. like the ones that Suzuki just recently bought-out would just learn from Witchita Suzuki how to do business they would all still be around and thriving!
