this was the song that inspired me to learn how to play the piano, i decided to do it the proper way and have lessons, and i can know read the sheet music this piece took me over a year to learn at full speed with the correct exspression!
Its good, I just think the left and right parts are a little mixed up, but it gives you the notes and shows you how to play so... 'SO FUCKIN WHAT' its beautiful... -Anti-nowhere league
Someday I will know the whole thing, but until then I will impress people with the first 30 seconds, and then fake a distraction to avoid playing the rest.
the tempo is rubato, which means "flexible" , i find every 4 beats suffiant to do a quick let go and hold back down again of the sustain pedal.
and above (on the sheet music) it has depending on what langauge, adante tres expressif, which translates to play expressively, i hope this helps you all who are having trouble with tempo and sustain <3
omg!!! I LOVE THIS SONG!! i learnt in in school, easy as pie! ^.^ its just the sus that i had troubles with, but that wasnt to hard to master, u just have to play it with feeling, i hate it when slow peices are sped up are played macanically with no emotion, the aim of this piece is to express you emotion through it, if u do that when u play it it will sound AMAZING and make ppl cry
@TheGhostlover100 Actually it's the first song he plays in his room for her on his cd player, bella's lullaby is a different song that is an altered version of "River flows in you" =] both very pretty pieces though!
Thats the first 30 seconds learnt! Tip for everyone, learn it in bits. Dont learn from 30 secs onwards until you can play the first 30 secs backwards, (metaphorically). Obviously.
yes, your right... thats how i learnd it.. :D and i played easy songs in between to, otherwise i think i would have ripped that piece of paper appart, if it had been the only song i was playing :DD
@stillxstandingxshort doin the same... hardly ever played piano b4... gonna b a mission but this is possibly my favourite song of all time...so gentle and every note seems so graceful!...and I MUST KNOW IT!!
@bababababarann i gave up for a while but i'm slowly getting more and more. believe me, i've learned other songs in between because this pisses me off repeatedly, lol.
@MrTirill3 Lol yup ;p
