There working on this tech but not for the Iphone. Think Star Trek and using something that looks like an ID Card thats all plastic. You hold it up to a foreign language sign and it'll auto translate for you. Granted it'll also show you local highlights of the area your in depending on what your looking for. I'm sure the tech will be in Glasses as well so you don't' have to constantly hold something.

Well, seeing as the Touch doesn't have a camera, I would guess no, it will not work with the Touch.

Also, I'm pretty sure it does not depend on GPS too much, seeing as the video demonstrates use indoors, and GPS signals are hard to come by when inside.
