Hey alikarel23 ... Thanks for the upload of a long-lost "giveaway song" that I wish the Beatles had recorded themselves ... but they gave it to Billy J Kramer. Although this version is by Bas Muys, a Dutch artist who put together an entire album of Beatles Giveaways called "Secret Songs", he sounds a lot like the Beatles would've sounded if they had recorded the songs themselves. For that reason, this is GREAT UPLOAD and much appreciated. Thanks so much. Hilts
Yea not the Beatles but this is hands down my favorite version- I'm pretty sure it's Paul's song, which is why it is weird that the guy that sounds like John is singing. Usually you can tell who wrote it by who sings it. Either way, if another cover can beat this version it wouldn't be by much.
A friend who grew up in England (still has a very strong accent) lent me a book today, and this is one of the songs that I didn't recognize so I looked it up here. According to the book (The Beatles Complete, Guitar Edition, which has the price in pounds on the back cover) the song is credited to Lennon/McCartney. Just when I thought someone else could write an awesome song like this : (

This is not the Beatles. They are BAS MUYS who issued "Beatles Stars on 45" in 1981. Don't get fooled again
