  • if made safe, a coaster with an underwater part would be cool but it would come with tons of .

  • I'd go in anyway I'd like to ride underwater

  • i love six flags it's sad it flooded a couple years ago

  • Looks like spongebob now lives....

    *Puts on shades*

    UNDER THE SEA AGAIN.

    YEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!

  • six flags under georgia !!!!!!!!

  • oh psh it's just a few more water rides!!

  • I am sure all of the "at risk" rides were prepared with such an eventuality in mind. The amount of forethought and engineering that goes into these rides is absolutely intense.

  • No guys its not flooded its part of the new attraction

    relive ''Water world''

  • Imagine being on Goliath when it floods. Now that would make a killer ride.

  • did the monster plantation get flooded?

  • water rides open it up for summer

  • time for underwater tunnels

  • thats the six flags I went to one time. It's reopened though so it's all good.

  • I remember this. They had to repaint Batman, do several repairs to the Superman, and the bottom of Goliath had to be repainted as well. And the Scream Machine (that wood roller coaster) had to be repaired and repainted.

  • @AurolaSeadevil 1. They did not repaint Batman due to the flood, it was in need of a paint job before the flood..

    2. The flood waters did not even get to Superman..

  • @sfot08

LOL, I thought they did. XD They didn't open for several weeks, they said they were repainting Batman, Superman, and alot others. :P I follow what I hear.

  • How come everything bad happens to the theme parks down south? Like the six flags new Orleans. Sad, sad. I live in the Chicago land area and go to great America a lot and nothing really bad happend there that threatened to close the park.

  • I went there in early 2009 for a school trip. Superman ride is awesome. Weird to think I was there only a few months before this happened. I rode that wooden coaster too, that thing is FAST. What a shame, but glad to hear the park reopened.

  • it seems like all the bad stuff always happens at a six flags park

  • its a all new water park!

  • i levin trear

  • NOT THE FUNNEL CAKES NOOO!!

  • how has it been open for like three years if this happenened not even two years ago.dumb ass

  • AmericanNinja85 Yes it is open it has been open for like three years

  • Wow i remeber visiting Family in GA and going there as a kid ! has this park reopened ?

  • I wonder what it would be like to ride the Acrophobia now? It would make a HUGE splash :D

  • Coming soon: Six Flafs present : TAKE THAT : THE FLOOD ROLLERCOASTER!

  • lol what would happen if there were peps up there lolz plzzzz make this top comment

  • loz six flags underr georgia

  • FUCK U MOTHER NATURE

  • @N1gHtStAlKeR726 They recovered. Why are you mad?

  • @Costerguy1234556 not really

  • OMG, never heard this terrible news before!

  • a few nights ago i had a dream that happened again and me and my family were in it.

it still makes me shivers just thinking about it 3=

  • oh yeah i remember seeing this in the highway it was awesome

  • This is Six Flags Over GA...The first ride you see there is Batman the Ride...The one kind of close to it is The Riddler...AKA The GA Mind Bender...The little town it zooms in on with the blue ruff tops is Thomas the Train ride...And the big wooden coaster is Scream Machine. Six Flags over GA is sits on a hill anyway thats why a major part of the park was left unharmed. The main part is flat then it all is kind of down hill. I rode Scream machine 2 months after this it is all running nowdays

  • @BlueTears1984 It's always been the Mindbender, it was never named The Riddler, Riddler's Revenger, or anything like that.

  • It's like a Halo in Forge World.

  • This Is New Orleans

  • @akillpat no its six flags over georgia it was caused by the rain from katrina

  • @gokarter57275 What are you thinking?! Katrina was in 2005. This video was during the flood of 2009 when it rained for a week straight and areas received 15+ inches of rain. Don't correct someone if you yourself don't know what you're talking about.

  • @gconnorg your right but more importantly it is still sixflags overr georgia

  • This Is New Orleans

  • i was born in savannah not to far from atlanta...

  • I am so blessed because the week before it flooded we were on the rode RIGHT by it!!!!

  • That would suck for six flags hahaha they suck

  • I was suppose to go there on the 24th but its closed during the week then. Kinda glad its closed after watching this. Water can do some horrible stuff to equipment!

  • Now its "Six Flags Under White Water!"lol

  • @devinlentz1021 more like under brown water....lol

  • @xCOASTERFREAKx Yeah!how does it get SO MUCH RAIN!? im goin tomorrow and i DO NOT want to step in to this!!!never the less RIDE IT!!you know!

  • six flags under georgia my sis lives there thank god it happend before she moved there

  • lets ride the rides now! WATER RIDES

  • i don't live too far from this place

  • What if that wooden coaster was going and the cart was full

  • at least the same thing didnt happen to you as new orleans

  • i wanna just get the chaingun out and go on a muderous rampade...

    Like an AC-130!

  • Thank god the waters gone an the park is OPEN!

  • Comment removed

  • @EMPxGTZ For your information, they got the water out of the park and it's open. I just went a few weeks ago! GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT

  • That was like, the CRAZIEST flood ever in GA.. Too bad I wasn't there when it happened.. GA is boring now.. Besides SFOG of course! :D

  • @OfficialGleek4ever Well, if you ever get a chance to go to the Plateau reigon, there are lots of fun things to do, like tubing and white water rafting and paragliding and...

  • @OfficialGleek4ever not really, the craziest one was back in july 1994. well maybe not crazy, but it was deadly. I do really agree with you.

  • Who wants to go for a ride on the coasters in the flood?! :D

  • @wilhelm1407 Well, the rides are down but maybe they'll keep the water rides open :)

  • @wilhelm1407 I would.

  • @wilhelm1407 *click click click click* *ZOOM* *AHHH* *SPLASH*

  • @wilhelm1407 honestly i see too many water splash zones to any good speed :P

  • @wilhelm1407 yeah its gotta go slightly faster but I guess I'll be there!

  • Did it re-open?

  • @missemo1000 yes it did

  • @missemo1000 Yes, I go to it all the time. Its like nothing ever happened.

  • This is Georgia as you can see from previous comments i lived in atlanta.....rained 7 days straight and the chatahoochee river had flooded all over metro and atlanta and surrounding counties. not to be rude but just so you all know thank you.

  • lol

  • Multipule water splashes on the Woodie, great idea :)

  • holy s~~~!how did that happen!?!?

  • @gwjaws 21 inches of rain in 24 hrs. caused it.

  • That s New Orleans, not GA

  • @Nichiiro This video is of Six flags over Georgia.. Not New orleans.

  • @krissykonspiracy92 You mean Six Flags under Georgia Lol

  • SO NOT NEW ORLEANS ! Dats strait A town all day! Learn your geography!

  • @28dsc2 Jesus christ my bad!

  • its the new water park at six flags

  • good day to do any high ride repair

  • The ninja! Hahaha

  • Too bad our Six Flags in New Orleans wasn't able to come back like this place did...

  • @DeeNOLA777 Your right. While Im not from NOLA, I did visit there, and I did drive past SFNO. Sad shame.

  • @DeeNOLA777 Probably because it's in New Orleans XD

  • If you ever go there it's fun and it's a hood six flags that recovered unlike new Orleans went abandoned but SF over GA is better than ever now

  • It would be so fun to ride Batman like this!

  • Why can't you do this in Rollercoaster Tycoon?!

  • Bad flood and now Park sold some developer thinks its real estate would you live there? btter that it reopens as a park good oppertunity to add bigger coasters more small rides shops and eaterie save the park, tell the bleed`in developers to rebuild houses and speed up recovery in orleans

  • @deadlysonics That's not a new water ride. That's the Loch Ness monster.

  • @TurboDV8 Where's Nessie?:)

  • poor six flags!

  • Them dirty rides needed cleaning so they used Billy May's Flood in a Flash. Instantly remove all oil, spit, and homeless people living in the park! Order right now and get one scam wow to go with it!

  • a new water ride

  • Year ago not week ago

  • I went there July and it was perfect. That happened a week ago and goliath is the best ride there if u go

  • thats gonna cost a fortune.

  • This park is used to the flooding.. If you lookin the sections of the parks that flood, there is not to much to get damaged by the water. They have this down to a sience here. I remember it flooded one tuesday, and that weekend the park was clean and open for business!!!

  • Welcome to Six Flags Under Georgia

  • @MrJakeI1 More like Welcome to Six Flags Under Water. and from something i read someone said this "Now, at Six Flags! Mr. Six's 'Pump and Bail." Grab you bucket and join us for all the fun!"

  • That's horribe

  • is it still under water?

  • @tweetysweety1996 Nope, the flooding receded in most areas within the couple days afterwards. Although there was one area where it lasted a week or so if I recall correctly.

  • No its not under water anymore. The water cleared out about a week later. After the September 2009 flood. The park is now open

  • Yep, thats my sixflags... Shame I was at disney when all this flood happened... I totally missed out! Oh well, going to Six Flags UNDER Georgia tomorrow.

  • i felt the most sowwy 4 GASM cuz it got attacked the most

  • seeing the great american scream machine like that gives me chills.

  • i feel sorry for the ppl that died in that flood

  • why shock it happen before six flags was under water about 10 years ago...anyway did wash all the fire ants to fla at least

  • The wooden coaster looks like a remake of the loch ness monster in the water.

  • NOOOOO

  • Dude...I live in Ga.. I was totall ypissed to hear it was under water... Glad its finally dried up CANT WAIT TO GO IN A LITTLE UNDER A MONTH! =]

  • i was going to go there that day but got sick !!!!!!

  • Six Flags does it's employees dirty

  • its because they are all black and they cause the park to become dirty

  • im glad everything was okay..i wuld b terrified if sixflags was closed..then everyone wuld b at whitewaters..

  • Even though it's not Angus G. Wynne's fault that this park is always at a flood risk ... It's very unfortunate that this park is built next to the Chattahoochee River and contains a LOT of steep pits. Gotham City & Cotton States being the lowest area of the park. NOT to mention it's built near an airport which restricts the attraction height level. A lot of mishaps are stopping this park from growing.

  • That's interesting, I just mentioned that to my wife before scrolling down to read your comment. About 'what did they expect' building it on the bank of the river there...

  • @RandomentalTV The "height restriction" is a "kinda, sorta" true statement. While airport operations does affect the part of the park in the approach to the runways (near I-20), remember that Gasp's tower was 225' above the ground, higher than anything currently at the park (and it was built on the highest point in the park as well). The FAA evaluates structures on a case-by-case basis and doesn't issue blanket height restrictions.

  • Now it's sixflags under Georgia

  • @2Rides2 you copied my comment douche

  • @lxsosna you copied my comment douche

  • @2Rides2

    Lol that would suck

  • Where's this new water park?

  • it would be awesome to ride the coasters through the water! lol

  • @saybozert please keep hands and feet inside the cart at all time, and make sure your scuba gear is on properly

  • they have a policy that they have to go by so they have to stay within the time frame

  • rct3 duhh

  • lol that clean up job cost over 100million =/ Lucky for them they will make that back in a few weeks lol

  • there goin bank rupt bro

  • Yeah they had a write up in the AJC that said they have been in the negative for the past two years. They were discussing whether or not to close the park in a couple more seasons if they dont start making profit..

  • looks like the city of atlantis and the sad part about it is that, that same weekend it opened i mean. Who would go on a muddy rollercoaster

  • @Polkadotsful it wasnt muddy..a certain paint they use 2 prevent that from happening..i went on da opening weekend and da coaster was awesome!

  • This is my first time seeing Six Flags underwater. 1:39 Is it true they're tearing Scream Machine down?

  • went to six flags today and i rode everything i came back fine

  • howed they clean all that up so fast!?,were there still like rust mud anything?

  • naa man 6 flagts is good to go now

  • @xXKillaXx14 they were ready 4 this..they have lots of sewers and pumps 2 get all da water out

  • i don't know why they opened it up so fast because you wouldn't catch me on those rides

  • @Polkadotsful i had a great time that weekend it opened back up

  • OMFG!!! I didn't no that it affected every ride ovr there. I thought it only affected the rides that were on the Chattahoochee, but I knew GASM wuz in 4 it. I rlly felt sowwy 4 it, but thankfully it lived. WOOOH!!!

  • Crazy shit....I find out about this 8 days late....that happens when I don't watch tv and the news.

  • they fixed it its open this weekend !!

  • Cant they just fix it? when did this happen?

  • 9/22 i live like 20 mins from there

  • Same. D'ville

  • hahaha SIX FLAGS UNDER GEORGIA!

  • @lxsosna now, i live 15 miles from there,,, that is so true though. you have no idea the damage that was caused to 6 flags

  • @lxsosna Lol!!!

  • It's ok people calm down, Sixflags opened Saturday for teh weekend. Fright fest will be opened on October 2nd as planned.

  • 6 flags looked like this and them muthafuckas sayin they openin back up...they aint tryna miss that fright fest money but ill be damned if i went and rode they rides...but watch some dumbass gne go.

  • WTF!! i just went there like in july and it looks like the new white water this is so messed up

  • Thats our ONLY amusement park... WTF r we gonna do now!!!

  • hahaha i guess we gonna have to go2 white water eventho its cold as hell

  • No offense or anything, but I never thought I'd see Six Flags "Over Georgia" become Six Flags Under Water". Seriously though, it's awful that this had to happen.

  • all of the sea turtles and the snakes are mixed in with that water and idk wat will happen to them ya kno the sea turtles and the snakes and other things n the water under the ninja yea

  • gosh, it's like six flags new orleans all over again, but even more inland

  • OMG, I can't believed Six Flags is flooded! I just went there last summer!!!! I think they can't open up the Halloween Park!!! :(

  • ya they can i work there and were going to open this weekend if we can but the only propble that we think we might have is the wooden roller coasters

  • ya they shouldnt let anyone get on those wooden ones

  • NOOOOOOOOOOO i never went 2 the halloween fest

  • Six Flags has flooded before. It's been a few years. Also, park officials are being optimistic in wanting to open the park this Saturday.

  • all i can say is wow. you know flooding is bad if a theme park ends up like this. where are the animals in six flags though?

  • we have no animals at our sixflags

  • Noooooo! ); scream machinee!

  • the scream machine is done fore ):

  • *for, i mean

  • no its not i work at sixflags and it is going to be fine

  • what happened to the animals?

  • sixflags doesnt have any any animals

  • I love six flags and i'm really sad cuz it got flooded like that
