One day when I was about 12 or 13, I was watching TV laying on the floor. Commercial break came on and I decided to do a really exagerated stretch... and realized I could touch my head with my foot... The rest is history.

(and now, 15 years later, I can't touch my head with my foot anymore, but I can if I force it up. Hence the necessity of the kick. :P)
