I'm researching this particular model - so far' I'm sold on it - I'm planning on getting a couple of them for messing around' I've got a lot of RC experience with airplanes but this will be my first helicopter. I like the SR Blade by E-flight too as well as the Mini Titan by Thunder Tiger all are beautifully constructed and seem like quality equipment - guess I'll have to check out you're recommendation on the Pheonix and Real flight simulators.
@Hogwit I wouldn't recommend it. I would start with a blade SR. This 4F200 is good, but it has a weird feel because it is flybarless, you would be better with a flybar heli to start.
I have a V400D02 which is a little larger than this one, and the first thing you have to do is replace the junk servos that come with it.
In regards to sims, for those of you that have a Mac, you can go to heli-x.com and down load a free demo version. If you like it, then you can purchase a code to unlock the demo and it becomes the full version. Works great and it is for helis only.
@CrazyHeliDude I wouldn't recommended it. I've had problems with it since I got it(after these first videos). Every single minor bump or hard landing will strip all 3 cyclic servos(I've replaced them 2 times now - 6 new servos). it also got very unstable, I don't know if the RX went bad, or what, but after it lost RX link one time and spun to the ground, it hasn't been the same. Take a look at their other helis, I've had good luck with the other walkeras, but not the 4f200
@earthling1984 - Ok thanks for the good and timely info. I will definitely avoid this one. Looking forward to trying out the Blade mCPx coming out in 2 or 3 weeks.
@earthling1984 I would agree about the servos being weak. I replaced mine with futaba s3114, they fit prefectly and you can get a gear set for them if you strip a gear. Hope that helps!
I am looking for a really good helicopter to learn how to fly and repair/upgrade. I am also looking for a great helicopter flight sim . What do you recommend? Great videos Hope I can fly as good as you one day.
@zighearts If you have never flown before, look into the E-flite blade mCX2 and the E-flite blade mSR. Those are the two best(in my opinion) helicopters to start out learning flight with. A great flight sim is called Pheonix, and there is also Real Flight. Both are great, but many people claim pheonix is better for helicopters, and real flight is better for planes.
@zighearts I'd recommend just go/hangout at your nearest AMA flying field. Most helicopter flyers own at least a couple of heli's. Don't matter if they're 3d experts or sport flyers. Anyways, there's no shortage of people wanting to sell their original trex450 + rx + tx + lipo's for about $300-400. Now that's a cheap buy into this hobby, but don't get cheap on a simulator. Plan to spend about $170 for a good one. That will "keep" you "in" this hobby. Good luck. STay safe keep simmin.
@brushless55 no, it is currently still being repaired from a crash on 3rd flight. Helicopter lost connect with transmitter and just fell to the ground. All fixed up now except needs two servos replaced(maybe 3)... I have 3 new servos in the mail.
great video and flying! ive seen a few comments about what the mythbusters did last night using the helicopters, if you see that episode, you should make a video explaining the concept of why the helis didnt fly when the bottom was closed up.
Last nights Mythbusters used RC helicopters to test a crazy story about bees lifting a laptop computer. It was really cool, they glues 6 helicopters to a wooden frame.
You have more rc's than anyone ive seen. Want to hang out lol. Great flight my friend. nice little spot. Technology has come a long way since the G3, thanks for the upload.

I fly helis and planes. Clearview rc is the best (and cheapest) sim for both.

That 3 blade helicopter would look real nice with a AH-6J Little Bird canopy.

Where do you buy your helis? Also you should make a video of you teaching someone to fly? It would be entertaining

@bakonlicious I would recommend wowhobbies for walkera helicopters, that is where I purchased my 4F200 from and lots of parts for my Novus 125CP/4G6.
