If someone is spreading lies about the bible, correct them with proof in scripture. God didn't call us to argue and debate. He said spread the good news to those who are willing to believe and disciple them, not leaving a new Christian behind. God does the soul winning, and he doesn't need a defense.

They were tried and convicted in the judicial system as it says in later chapters. We aren't under those laws. All those laws in the old testament were for one thing. The Lord was trying to prove to us we couldn't do it on our own. Thats why he sent Jesus who fulfilled those laws for us and then died for us. We live by faith now, not by law. Bacon is good :)

look at it this way i have a 50-50 chance there is a God or is not a God, I spend my life praising the Lord, accepting Jesus and the day come and I die and it turns out no of it was true. did i really lose out , i still enjoyed life, loved my wife my kids still enjoyed football, friends. now the flip side, i live my life not believing in God and the day comes and I die and there he is with his Son Jesus and now I have lost eveything so i will live by faith and believe in God and his Son
