  • Ace video Gordie. Classic. The snow looks rubbish, but the skiing looks fantastic. Keep in touch. Dave Jinks. Email me and I'll send the photo of you putting the snow fencing up. We need to get some stuff shot. With The Id riding shot gun and his Nikons set to stun.

  • Great Video Gordie. Watching sat in this office is bringing me down. Hope to be in touch about continuing my EPC with you in the very near future. It's been far to long, all the best Carl (1000ft on first lesson almost a year ago on Clough).

  • Hey Gordie - love it!! Can't wait for the snow to melt a bit on the Raise so I can try the 'grass skiing' too!

  • Great Video, thanks for sharing it - just stumbled across the existence of the Raise site today from the Ski Resorts of Northern England web site.

  • Really nice vid.

  • Great video, and you must have some of the fittest dogs in the country!

  • brilliant Gordie, I'm gonna learn to Ski

  • Wonderful Gordie, not least walking in ski boots...and all this in the UK, fantatsic BW Bill

  • Hello Gordie, This is Lionel from the Alps. Just a word to tell you that your video is very nice and I am always amazed when you ski over grass or heather. It makes me think that we are so lucky with our thick snow cover over here in the Alps. I found that your skiing on the West Face is gorgious. It's also always good to see your dogs running around. Cheers, Lionel

  • Cheers Lionel, years of practise to get so good at grass skiing ;-) As for the snow well I did 14 years teaching skiing and to be honest got boared with the alps and lots of snow, it is just to easy. I now get a lot more enjoyment out of earning my turns and making the most of marginal conditions rather then getting it easy and pulled up every hill from the bottom. Most of the other Lake District locals also appreciate this also.
