  • dude whered u get that mount thing

  • How well will Aion run on this netbook? Been looking at this netbook for a really long time and i think I will get it when I get the cash. And Aion is really well optimized like War here.

  • Eh, I don't really know. If I get around to it I'll throw Aion on my netbook and see how well it works. I haven't been in a gaming mood for a while. =\

  • @ein311 Aion works fine on the acer ferrari one netbook which is very similar to this. I can run it on medium settings, no aa, and only have problems at seiges where I have to Shift+f12 to turn off other player models and maybe switch to fixed fps. Dark poeta and all other instances run fine tho

  • then how many fps u getting everything on high

  • On Warhammer I get between 35-45fps in PvE and in scenarios and other PvP I'm in the 30s all the time.

Honestly, I can't tell much difference between high and low graphics in warhammer with the screen being so small. I do turn off everyone's spell effects and leave only mine to show, and it bumps fps up to the 40s to 50s.

lord of the rings online is much the same way, and I think that game looks better than warhammer and wow.

  • Can you make a video of wotlk playing please i wanna see what setting can it play, thanks

  • No can do. I quit WoW a long time ago before the first expansion came out and don't really want to play it again.

From what I can tell though, if this thing'll play Warhammer Online fine, you'll be OK with WoW.

  • The graphic card is ok, a good low-end solution for casual gaming, but both the processor's cache and clock holds back the VGA's performance...

Your system does something around 1548 points on 3Dmark 06, with this Atom processor...

With any dual core processor, I believe that the performance could be the double of this...but that it would be much more expensive.

How much does this cost over there?

Here it is very expensive...something around 1200 USD.

  • Cost me half as much. If I wanted a gaming laptop I would have bought one.

This was purchased with portable computing in mind. The ability to play games just makes it that much better.

  • Hey, thanks and what classes do you play on Destruction? what are your favorites?

  • I have a chosen, zealot, and magus. My chosen is my favorite and highest level. I've always liked healers and zealots are great. The magus is a bit odd and I'm not really into it.

  • And are you a healing spec or DPS?

  • My rune priest focused on damage until about 30, then I changed to healing since I do a lot of rvr. Engineers are a lot of fun if you play them right, they're really good at rvr. Try a shadow warrior (elf), they're pretty popular. Never tried one myself.

I am playing more destruction right now, though.

  • Hey im figuring out what class i should play, I kind of like ranged DPS, and I tried engineer I dont really like it, i die to easily. I kind of want to make a rune priest, are they only good for healer? Do they have any cool aoe DMG spells and stuff like that

  • Hey again, do you play warhammer online on ur n10 with a mouse or trackpad? And should I get a wireless mouse

  • It's your preference. When I get a chance I always opt for the mouse. It's easily playable with a trackpad and with the size of the keyboard on the n10 I can actually play it one-handed (mouse for trackpad, fingers on wasd/numbers)

  • I was about to get the asus n10, but then i went to bestbuy and found this laptop that was similar an on the bestbuy site it says its $960 but at the store it was onling $650, and I got it. It has a 14.1 inch screen a Nvidia 9300 GS 512MB graphics card and an intel centrino instead of the atom, im glad i got this instead :D i like the bigger screen, and it also has 4GB of ram

  • NIce. I picked up my N10j a while ago and I think I know which laptop you're talking about.

The biggest reason I went with the n10 was because I was really looking for a netbook. I have a very capable 17" and 15.4" laptop but wanted something 10" or under.

  • Hey, is this warhammer on steam or did you install it with discs

  • Installed it with discs...I coped the install files from the disk onto the N10. Still don't have an external disk drive.

  • yeah game wouldent work for me becasue i dident have a video card at all..

bought a geforce 8400 or 8500 i think it is... 256mb video card for 30 bucks..

made game run.. but lags on low..

only because i have 1gb ram vista.. when it says i need 2.. so im hopeing if i buy 2gb ram..

which is what i need and max i can have in my system

    i hope it will work

  • The 8400 and 8500 graphics chipsets are still pretty low-end, but better than an integrated solution by far.

You have to remember to keep your monitor resolution and other components in mind; a 24" monitor with a 1920x1200 resolution is going to kill an 8400/8500, even on warhammer. I think you'd be fine with a 19-20" playing warhammer on balanced video as long as everything else in your system is decent.

  • how much did it cost you dude ? and dose it have a good video card ?

  • The one I have is $680 on Newegg. The 9300M GS is a very capable card, but unfortunately the Atom processor is the main bottleneck for 3D Performance.

  • Yea...I took the chance and bought the N10, primarily hoping it would play Warhammer.

I did some research and when I found people playing left 4 dead, dead space, and some other more recent games I took the plunge.

I definitely wouldn't go to RvR on it but it's good enough for some solo leveling, which is all I really wanted from this thing anyway.

  • nice, thanks for posting, im going to get this netbook and knowing it plays this is a bonus. :)

  • sweet
