You should do a zoom test. i might get one and the zoom is the last thing i have questions about.

@BensIpodChannel the zoom is poor on this camera.. but the advantage of the 3rd gen is image stabilization.

flip mino hd is good, and nice quality, though here are some negatives.

* No focusing.

* Really shaky

* Not good at fast speeds

* Only 60 mins recording time.

@eXore7 Exactly! Extremely shaky. I think people look at cameras and think about only that they can upload and people can see the images. It's really shaky, and has that blur when you move the camera, so you can't tell what the image is. Yes, at fast speeds it's like it skips or something. But, good for recording the family dog I guess if you get for like $50 on ebay or something

It's nice quality, etc. BUT it's not too great. It's expensive, not even 1080p [its 720p] and it can't hold an extra memory card, and no optical zoom, just a 2x digital zoom which is horrible. But it's an OKAY camera for a small thing to carry around for a close range capture or something. but for the price it's not worth it IMO
