I feel lucky to have seen her perform live many times. Living in Texas, Tejano Music is just part of the culture. Look up "texas interview w selena" and listen to her beautiful voice. It was sort of raspy, but totally cute, but she was a powerhouse when she would sing!
I saw this movie a long time ago and really enjoyed it but I totally missed Selena's cameo! I love that song she is singing in this clip, but then again, I ove everything she sings!
Actually Selena would have been the one playing in the movies Salma Hayek plays in today!! Selena would be TOTALLY different.... Salma Hayek is Mexican and you could tell she has a mexican accent...Selena was Mexican-American.. her English was perfect!!
Listen to the song towards the end when she sings: "lo albrestado huhhhh uhhhh" it sounds so crisp and pure. Love sel i wonder if johnny depp ever got to meet her and talk and stuff.
