Is this a normal apartment in Japan? It really makes me realize how much space is wasted in the U.S., where even a single bedroom apartment is 4 times this size. I like it though. It looks like a very simple and neat lifestyle.

@boklem13 For me it just felt like home basically. But I had been there on longer vacations two times before, so the culture shock came then. Not this time around. And I can't even remember what I felt back then. lol But the language barrier can be a bit frustrating of course. Very frustrating sometimes. But it's nothing u can't deal with. It's so nice to see how far I've come, from more or less not knowing a single japanese word to being able to talk!

so weres the dryer and on an up side the electric bill will be cheap. when i visit japan im gonna have to get a bigger place. i can see myself takeing down a wall there not purposly either. im six one and broad and work out and my arm length is that of a baseket ball player. point being i need more space lol.

You should try the "water up your ass" button. Its basically a bidet. It makes it so that your butt doesnt stink like if you were just to use toilet paper. You guys dont wash yourselves after you poop in sweden? lol

Ha Ha... that washing machine looks like a N. American bread maker. I love Japanese technology and ingenuity. Be sure to try 'Attaku' - Japan's #1 laundry detergent...don't ask me how I know that it's too complicated to explain.
