they are neat.... but there are graphic mods for this game that add HDR, glooming FX and all shorts other shit including corpses not dissapearing etc. Go to doom3's filefront for everything doom 3, you can truly "ressurect" doom 3 to modern era there!

@freddy692000 You're dead wrong. Doom 3 was an incredible success. It was meant to be a horror shooter and it topped all expectations. It was never meant to be a rambo run-n'-gun style shooter like it's predecessors were. It was meant to be a slow paced horror shooter. When it was released, it had some of the best graphics and it's shadow effects were the first of it's kind. No game before it used the same shadow effects. Doom 3 is known as a breakthrough in video games.

@aonmedia813 Thanks. I had a Doom 3 mod that was the best of it's kind, adding incredible detail to the game, incredible weapon sounds, and insane visual effects, but lost it with my last reformat. It's really disappointing because it was a custom tweaking of Perfected Doom 3 Mod by VGames. I spent many months working on it for quite a few hours a day. Got alot of enjoyment out of it and would've liked to upload videos of it to YouTube.

@karupt420 on the nightmare difficulty they give u the cube at the beginning, which makes sense do to the fact that not only is ur health contently being drained, but u also can only play the nightmare difficulty if u have beaten the game, and u know what the SC is. Hope this helps :)

@antman3456 He's bunnyhopping. It's a classic-game style way to gain extra movement speed in an FPS game. I say this because modern day games usually don't allow for bunnyhopping whereas older games do. It's generally faster than running, especially if you time your jumps one after another. To get the best speed, you stay on the floor as little as possible namely because the floor has friction that slows you down, hence why jumping repeatedly is faster then running.

Maybe if you werent such a pussy and played it on the hardest difficulty once and a while you would know that there are NO health pickups pn nightmare, you health steadily decreases until it reaches 25, and the only way you can replenish it is by using the recharge stations, and the soul cube, which is why they give it to you at the beginning...
