  • this song makes me proud to be able to play guitar...

  • This proves that you don't have play fast to sound good.Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @Puertorico2494 i agree but sweet Lord... Andy shreds in many a part in this song. love the tasteful soloing. he's a freak of nature. so good.

  • @Puertorico2494 you kidding me, some of his riffs are fucking fast

  • @bielenstein1995 I didn't say he wasn't fast.I meant this song,Listen to closely and you'll hear how great it sounds without having to shred like a robot for 12 minutes. All I meant to say is that he's a great musician because he knows when to play fast and when to just chill out on the guitar. x)

  • @Puertorico2494 ive known that 4 ages its called less is more

  • @1994AlexJohnson Exactly!!! :)

  • i think that he can talk with his guitar, and she answer he.

  • thumbs up if you want to play this song for your girlfriend

  • o'ow i dont believe it :D.

    very greay andy :D

  • Great playing as always, but the music is uninteresting: totally derivative.

  • What a breath of fresh air. Superb playing and I'm old!!

  • He makes it look so easy! >.<

    :D

  • this song gives me chills... it's so melodic and emotional

  • This guy has a lot of a very good taste and his style is simply awesome...

  • @EmilianoDuque its not hard to play its just hard to get the feelin right.. which .. can never happen... its impossible to immitate feeling

  • @BayakTodang 1306 + 25 people can't play this.

  • I bet he'll sound better with a fender.

  • @jedaxel Cant knock that Ibanez though. Although, theoritically the tone is coming from his fingers and the bad ass Dimarzios

  • Had a chance to see him during one of these clinics a few years ago, he's a super nice guy and his tone is....awesome.

  • my very first guitar (Ibanez "stagestar") came with an instructional video by this guy!

I even remember this song! :D

  • There's 25 idiots.

  • @thaismagali13

actually, that would be 25 f#*@%ing idiots

  • amazing . .

  • that's a cool ibanez, it looks like a strat but underneath that exterior is a shred machine

  • @alapunk13 Thats the case with a shit load of ibanezs, see Steve Vai or Joe Satriani for mor details...

But I suppose Andy Timmons's is the most stratish =P

  • @EssexMetalHead yeah vai's and joe's look more modern, but this just looks like a classic strat with pointy features, the sunburst, white pickguard, and I guess maple neck make it really look like strat

  • with beautiful music like this how can there be hell in this world?

  • he looks like he has to pee from 1:59-2:06

  • that 414,906 needs to go up!

  • Andy is simply amazing.....

  • As 25 pessoas que não gostaram desse vídeo têm pro-ble-mi-nha.

  • andy is perfect !

  • i love it

  • i love it!

  • Nothing beats the sound of a child playing a $80 First Act guitar running on a Marshall battery powered amp. Music to my ears

  • 25 people actually didn't like this? Well, what the hell did you even bother watching this for, then?

  • baby making music.

  • his moves are sooo funny

    who of you agrees?

  • Andy plays his own custom guitar made by Ibanez.....its called an AT100 CLSB

Bad to the bone..and for Andy..well he's indescribable....and what makes him even better....Nicest freaking guy you"ll ever meet....... Cant see him enough...great part about living in Dallas... If you can ever catch him...it"ll blow you you away.... his tone live is crazy....

  • How in the world can someone not like this?

  • Great performance by DANGER DANGER guitarist! Remindes me Hendrix style!

  • That's what playing the guitar(or any instrument) is about . EXPRESSION.

  • does he drop his e string to C#? or is this in standard tuning?

  • This is honestly like watching porn, and I'm not necessarily saying that in a tongue-in-cheek way. He has got some of the best tone I've ever heard here; so lush, so dynamic..

  • OH FUUUCK! It souns like in heaven. This is perfect... T___T

  • is that an anderson he's playing?

  • @flowerdrop1 No, Ibanez x]

  • Bad to the bone..and for Andy..well he's indescribable....and what makes him even better....Nicest freaking guy you"ll ever meet....... Cant see him enough...great part about living in Dallas... If you can ever catch him...it"ll blow you you away.... his tone live is crazy....

  • 25 people had an orgasm and mistaked the button...

  • Saw him perform this live in Dallas a few years ago at a guitar festival. It was awesome!!

  • he looks like joe dirt yo

  • dammmm this is good!

  • People like Andy Timmons are so under-rated, he is extremely talented and people don't realise this.

  • @TheTrancetrip and joe satriani

  • WOW! WOW! and WOW!!

  • his second verse is so beautifully improvised....way better than the recording.

  • Aaaaaaaa!!!!!! OSM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is one of those songs that you never want to end...

  • @samszeman i know what you mean man its just so great to listen to

  • @samszeman I agree. Wonderful.

  • Hell ya

  • Dude enough is enough that ending is too much.

  • @bobthwart1 Jealous muchhhhh

  • soulful playing! G3 contender??? Hmmm...

  • @cavlovc1

    Cheers, to G5-

Satriani, Vai, Timmons, Petrucci, and Gilbert, all in one huge venue.

  • id like to see a G7 with those mentioned and neal schon and eric johnson. andy timmons is severly underrated i aspire to play like him with his soul and feel and technique. him and satriani for the win!

  • @RockNRoller294 meh- I can deal without EJ. Neal Schon likewise.

To me, that's what Timmons is for!

  • IM not sure if i have ever scene such a performance for the guitar.

  • He used to play in Danger Danger. Andy is a super nice guy and one heck of a guitar player! If he comes in your area for a guitar clinic... GO!!!!

  • his tone........

  • ca fait rêver ce riff...

  • nigga kinda looks like brad pitt

  • @nosweepinginnj brad pitts a fag compared to andy!

  • @francinoitalianation bpitt can get any women he wants so obv not

  • He uses the DiMarzio Cruiser pickup in both the neck and middle position. For bridge he uses the DiMarzio AT-1 here, but also uses the Duncan JB on other guitars.

  • very reminscent of hendrix, but in a good way. andy timmons is soooo good.

  • my bf looks this

  • What kind of pickups does he have on his guitar?

  • @thedonace213 The bucker is a signature one, but I dunno about the middle and neck.

  • Andy Timmons es muy groso !! Lo banco a morir, la guitarra habla, hay de todo ahi dentro.

    Aguante Argentina !

  • 0:40 deym.

  • he plays by heart not fingers... =)

  • Amei! - Love it!

  • go Andy!

  • damn those harmonic taps are orgasmic

  • @z0mgzt0m I like them most of the time as well, but occasionally I find them suffocating, which is because sometimes I'm just in a crunch dist. kind of mood, and all I want to hear is that clash of notes.

  • @z0mgzt0m correction, my friend, they are eargasmic

  • id love to know what the 23 people who didnt like this dont like lol

  • an underrated song from an underrated guitarist

  • 2:18 so much love in their notes.

  • 2:18 so much love in their notes.

  • Great music!!! when is it supposed to start??? the music i mean...?

  • Feeling incrível. Quero ser assim quando crescer...

  • sustain *--*

  • Fantastic song, fantastic performance, amazing player. Thanks for the video.

  • simplemente BESTIAL

  • his music is absolutely unique.... He has the passion of having his music clean and pleasant to the human ear...

  • magic fingers Andy!

  • sei il migliore si tutti adesso!

now you are the bestof all the guitarist!

  • This guy is amazing!

  • Add another reason to my neverending list of why I want a Mesa Boogie amp.

  • @davemustaine999 That's ridiculous, this guy could play like this through any decent rig with a good OD and reverb. Its all in the fingers. The amp isn't going to make you sound like that any more than it can put you on the moon.

  • @frankiebguitar Yeah, I know. I just absolutely love the sound of Mesas. The tone is absolutely amazing. I never said anything about it increasing my/hisplaying level.

  • @davemustaine999Yeah they do work, more so with such a great player. I'll bet he helps sell a few. Tasty stuff.

  • de mais de mais

sou fa dessa musica linda linda

  • Dat was mega!!!

  • What was he doing at 4:39. Looked like he was tapping his pick against the body of the guitar to get out a harmonic??? is that even possible???

  • @speckofdust21 He uses his knuckles to sustain the harmonic a bit longer, try it out and see what happens if you bang your fist on the guitar body

  • @speckofdust21 Yes. He was tapping the neck while holding out a note. It is called a ghost harmoninc. I t obviously creates a beautiful sound. It is also a very difficult technique to master. You have to have a very good understanding of the guitar neck. and where all the harmonics are located on it. It does take practice, but the payoff is very great.

  • @jandvadams It's not so hard if you only use the octave harmonic with the distance os 12 frets like in this song

  • @speckofdust21 I think it must of vibrated the springs in the back. But i could be wrong.

  • The one thing that makes this song so brilliant is the work of simple chords and the 1,3,5 structure. Then it does help to have a great guitar tone and know how to play the hell how of the guitar. Andy is amazing. I love the simplicity of this piece. It's beautiful. I watch this video over and over. You can really see that he loves to play. KEEP ROCKIN' ANDY!

  • this guy reminds me of Andy from the office

  • This, personally, is his best live performance for me. He's got phenomenal phrasing and feel in this, puts all modern "music" to shame.

  • Love this song.

  • esta cancion es la hostia
