This band seemed to take a quantum leap... a huge improvement once they went to the UK around late '66/'67. The 'Friday on My Mind' LP certainly had some moments incl. 'Made My Bed', 'Pretty Gilrl', and the title track, but the follow-up, 'Vigil' was great, with tunes including 'Come In You'll Get Pneumonia', 'Good Times', 'Sha-la-la-la-la'... By that time they had a real Easybeats sound. Some of what they did prior to that showed potential, but really, these two albums are the band at its best.
