i would rather see someone playing electronics and samplers than guitar and drums...zeppelin already did that, let's see something new. besides, it's not like they have a laptop up there.. it's all analog, they are tweaking knobs to specifications that are difficult to reach..just as challenging as hitting certain chords on a guitar. to me, it's refreshing to finally see indie rock/pop music evolving.

Panda uses a lot of sampling....take Person Pitch for example, there's a lot of sampling form the tornadoes.

I saw him last night for the Saturday show. He pulled off the sound great...I was a little worried that the overlapping soundscapes would be tough to recreate live, but it was not a disappointment. Eric Copeland and Scott Mou were the openers. I am pretty sure that Eric Copeland may be the spawn of Satan. Not that it's a bad thing..I am just sayin'.
