How dangerous is it to use melee in the abyss, I have 69 str and atack, and 72 def. My stats are:

+328 stab, +332 slash, +315 crush, -4 magic, +318 ranged, and +179 summoning.

@gunut4 I don't think it would be too dangerous to use melee in the abyss with your stats. Just take plenty of good food, teleportation runes/tabs and a ring of life. Good luck.

@zombieman5364 you need to meet him by the zammy altar by where the rc store is by aubry who sells rc cape and complete the mini-quest the zammy mage tells you to do (tele to abyss from 3 or so different locations)

@revengeotto You can still store both rune and pure ess if they degrade. I'm not sure if they fully degrade though.

try and empty the pouch first, then you should be able to put normal or pure in.

Do they pile you when you walk in? I have a lower level who is trying to rc, and I want some pouches after the quest. He is a pure with reasonabally high stats, do you think he could get the pouches he needs?

They will attack you as soon as you go in. Sometimes you will spawn in an area where there isn't that many to attack you.

I think a pure should be able to do it with some resonable armour , super defence potions and some food (lobster or better).

When using the pouches you would only ever have to repair the highest one you are using because the lower the pouch, the longer it lasts. They last quite a while and are easy to repair :)

Using a cannon is also a fast and relatively cheap way as 500 cannonballs cost around 100k and the cannon can be used usefully in many other places.

I got medium pouch and large didn't bother getting giant as im never gonna get 75 rc.

Depending on your attack/strength/defence levels any good defence armour providing you have high defence and are confident you aren't going to die. Personaly i would advise full Rune and either a Dragon Scimitar or Whip.

For the inventory i wouldn't take any more than 6 sharks or pieces of food, you would need a method of teleportation and the rest would be prayer potions.

It's a multi-combat ancients spell, you need to do Desert Treasure quest to unlock the ability.

The spell i used was Ice Blitz, but other multi-target attacks can be used for example; chin-chompas.

There are four different pouches that you can get which are Small, Medium, Large and Giant.

You need the following Runecrafting level to use each one:

Small - 1

Medium - 25

Large - 50

Giant - 75

You don't need any specific items in your Inv. I would reccomend maby a method of teleportation to get out, you can also go to the middle and enter one of the Runecrafting Altars.

You have to complete a minigame, I belive it's called 'Mage of Zamorak'. To start go to the east bank in Varrock and walk south until you come to a rune shop, there should be a church next to it.

I find the Abyssal area, via the fairy ring network, is also a pretty good place for picking them up if you don't fear Abyssal Demons as well. The best bit is, no skulling or prayer drain means you can stay as long as you need.

Natch, this comes from my shitty 38 RC, but ah well, beggars can't be choosers.

i guess you could just do any multi ancients spell.. u should go barrows. lol im lvl 79 cb i got barrows, 71 mage, 77 range, range ahrims and kahril, ice burst the rest. protect from mage/range then protect fomr melee only against dh incase he breaks freeze.. 150 ice bursts, 50 or so bolts with blk chaps and mystic with archer helm.. 45 def ftw :p mm.. but i wanna get to 82 so i can ice blitz, so this vid help me get pouches for more alchs :p
