could you explain how do you push the hihat pedal? idk if you may do this like the bass drum pedal when you play heel up or heel down... it would be very helpful if you could record your left leg :) greetings!

It's really useful to keep timing with your left foot. My drum instructor also encourages me to keep the quarter notes by just swinging the heel when you play on the hi-hat and add to that a hi-hat w/foot on 2 and 4 when playing on ride.

It can be really tough at first but once you got that, it becomes a great tool!
