  • Link to the download is broken. :/

  • Hey there, very interested in doing this, do I just need to cut a couple of cables up and join pin 3,5,6. I want to use this with robot C

  • No, NXT-G can not access the high speed API functions. Maybe someone can create a block to do this.

  • @markr80 A block to do this has very recently been created, I uploaded a video showing use of it, and in the description of it, there is a link where you can find where you can download it.

  • i'm trying to implement this feature into two bricks, however, i already have the entire program made in NXT-G. this RS-485 technology isn't possible in the NXT-G solution however, is it?

  • you should try make a vehicle using this method

  • It would be real nice if via a master-slave config the master could send an application to the slave that on would run as a tokenized network. Such a framework would really spead up developing for this platform.

  • 7000 viewer!

  • like with connectors

  • how can i connect a dvd drive to the nxt to the nxt can make the dvd drive motor switch on and off (by pregramming it with nxt-g or something)

  • Very informative - thank you!

  • Thanks for the video dude! It was a HUGE help for my design project class!

  • Did you program using NXC? If so I'd be interested to know the maximum number of short packets per second that could be transferred via RS485.

  • You could do this a lot easier if you used the bluetooth because I know you can do it with bricxcc

  • This is awesome and well documented.

  • very interesting.. thx for posting,

    what compiler are you using?
