I really like this video, but I would like to make one correction. Firefighters from allover the Country came to California's aid. I was part of a 6 truck task force sent from New Mexico. We spent three weeks in Southern California. The people there were very nice, I hope we made a difference. If needed we will respond again.
i remember being at sea world for a swim team banquet the day they started, i was with my friends and we were like "thats a lot of smoke..." by the time we got home everything was covered in ash. im so scared of them coming back, because evacuating, worrying, and watching the news 24/7 to see if your house is still there, is not at all pleasurable.
My husband is a firefighter...you all have no idea how much these tributes mean to us. Its very touching to know how much his time away from our family and the danger he he works in made a difference to all of you.
