I recommend you put a WARM towel on your face before washing your face and putting a cool towel on your face after washing your face every day because the warm towel will allow your pores to open and the cool towel will close them which prevents more dirt from entering. One way to test whether the towel is too warm for your face is to place it on your wrist. DO NOT test it with your hand because naturally, your face is much more sensitive than your hand

wtf...think about it...if your using tweezers to extract the blackheads then it will break under the pressure just like if u squeeze them, it will leave portion of the blackhead still in the pore...i recommend going to a professional to do these things...your skin is very delicate and i wouldnt take the chance of messing it up

he's saying to pull out the black heads that you can actually see and already out after the hot towel so this way the tweezer won't touch your skin. =)

i dont think you understood my comment...i ment that there is a part of the black head that you can see, but because blackheads are made out of dirt and oil, it will break in half if you try to take it out that way...the other half will remain clogged in your pores

if you look closely to your blackheads, there is no hair growing out of it you are probably just interpreting diagrams that dermatologists use to explain it to you. In those diagrams, the dirt that they are removing is shaped like hair.

@toogood2btru0 That's why he instructed you to use the hot towel first before you remove the blackheads. The blackheads will "pop up" when your pores are opened. Look into the mirror after you have a hot shower, it's true.

acutally, according to my mom, a dermatologist, blackheads consist of excess oil generated from your body that when not removed from the face, attracts dirt (which makes it black). Does it make sence to say that you can use tweezers to extract oil off of your face? All that will do is take off the dirt which DOES NOT help you long term wise. Within a few weeks, you will notice the same exact pore turning black again

also, it IS true that steam and warm water open up your pores which is why you should splash your face with warm water before washing your face and then splash it with cool water after washing your face to close your pores.

I recommend washing your face twice (day and night) every day, making sure that you remove your makeup before cleansing your face because if you wash it with your makeup on, it will not be removing the dirt but the makeup. Because I do get blackheads on my nose, once a week (non consecutive days), I use Biore strips and the clean and clear blackhead daily cleansing scrub. All in all, the best way to not get blackheads is not treating them but preventing them.

I'm sorry I didn't see this comment until today. Again, sure a WARM towel (please don't use a hot one because the skin on your face is very sensitive) will open your pores but it WILL NOT push the dirt towards the top therefore it is impossible to use a tweezer to pull it out.

1.微波爐加熱毛巾等於是很燙的熱水使用

2.臉部使用一段時間早就冷掉了不需再用  冷水冷卻因為這樣造成肌膚緊繃呀

3.夾完後應再用溫熱水擦拭臉部乙次
