no theres the mach five and mach six. They just use the mach six at the end. They changed the way the original mach five looked from the cartoon.

no u are wrong they use the mach 5 through most of the movie and it looks just like the cartoon one then they have to make a new one cuz they hook it up with ilegal wweapons for street races and thats not allowed in the grand prix so they made a mach 6 in less than 32 hours!

the five is a differnt color and outline, theres only 1 side mirror on the old mach five, the two triangle things on the back of the mach five are blocks in the movie.

There's no explantition in the film. He actually starts off with the Mach 6 then the Mach 5 and the Mach 6 again.
