Also, both felt that there was nothing more to lead on Elizabeth and Will's love story after the 3rd movie, which I think is smart.. leave the ending how it is. :) Also, the director, who did the first three POTC did not return for this film. Johnny Depp almost did not reprise his role because the orginal director was not going to be part of this film.
