  • Great music!! big play & big hair!! ^ ^

    thanks for sharing!!

  • U got to luv Boise. Tresure valley.

  • In addition to being a guitar army of no equal, I personally felt that adding Billy Powell's sizzling piano licks was flat out brilliant. It elevated their sound to heights that few ever achieve. And considering Billy was a roadie who never auditioned for the job made his ascent into the band even more impressive. I've loved his work on the keyboards with LS. He can't be replaced . I love LS but it's time to let the touring band go. Too many lost . Thankfully the music will never die.

  • Johnny kicks asses

  • Gary played hell of a solo in this song...God save the Skynyrds..Its all about a family

  • I know both songs don't apply to lady pinhead gaga's stupid man lookin self . That freak needs a plane crash herself. SYNYRD ROCKS lady gaga slurps cocks!!!

  • Agreed, I believe they could still tour as the Skynyrd Band or something close, but retire the LS.

On a side note, this line of guitarists really was impressive. Medlocke Thomasson and Rossington are the whose-who of southern rock guitarists. RIP Allen Collins.

  • Medlocke = Blackfoot!!

  • What a great live video. such a shame that they've lost so many brothers, but I think this sounds great.

  • On the hunt , Ronnie ,Allen ,Steve would be proud Rickey Medlock was in the origanal Skynyrd!

  • This is a really good Skynyrd tribute band.

These guys are good enough to have their OWN band.

    This isn't LynYrd Skynyrd.

Don't be fooled by this imitation.

Their new album hurts my ears.

  • the weird part is that this cover version of skynyrd has been around like 3x's as long as the original skynyrd before the plane crash.

  • @slohurdler22 the problem is the new music they make sounds like this country pop stuff you here today the only good tunes they do are RVZ an AC songs

  • HELLYEAH!!!

  • The Hunt is a Southern Rock Masterpiece. Another one from L.S.

  • they are awesome hel yeah man rock 'n' roll love them and all

  • Damn Right!

  • hell yeah

  • HELL YEAH!

  • HELL YEAH!

  • if ure a skynyrd fan gimmie a HELL YEAH!

  • yes cant wait to see you in pittsburgh again in july.

  • There are songs you just instantly like when you hear them the first time. this was one of those songs for me back in the day!

  • RITA fukin rulz 4 dis

  • if this post gets 1000 thumbs up i will subscribe to anyone that asks

  • skynyrd still gots it

    rock on

  • What key is the ending solo. i think it might be the key of E Major. i know the first solo is in B

  • what song

  • Do these guys get better with age or what? Props to Ronnie, but I think Johnny's a better singer. Either way, it's Skynyrd!

  • While I appreciate this performance, the original Skynyrd will never be duplicated or exceeded. RIP Billy, Ronnie, Allan, Steve, Cassie & Leon

  • I tend to agree, but Skynyrd sounds great today and there aren't a lot of veteran bands who sound as good live.

  • I agree that Johnny is a better singer than Ronnie was... that said, Ronnie was the real deal... as a lyricist nobody could touch him... and the way he delivered his message was very special indeed. So to me Ronnie can't be topped... the man was awesome!

  • I agree with your later comments completely. But Johnny being a better singer? PLEASE! Ronnie is one of top 10 rock n roll singers of all time. In any case, just my opinion. Still love all who love Ronnie

  • god i love lynyrd skynyrd amasing band

  • I love this song.Quite possibilty the most underated southern rock song out there.PURE.

  • This and Dreams I'll never see by Hatchet.

  • Gary Rossington the last of the best Originals from the southern bible, delta blues fusion rock and roll artistry of Lynyrd skynyrd...having said that Johnny can fill His brother's boots and kept the Band or party going and Ricky is the perfect fit to Allen Collins , but ohw will fill in for Billy now ? God Bless the Skynyrd boys to go on.................

  • @weoncag They got Peter Keys to play keyboards. I dunno too much about him but apparantley he was a friend of Billys.

  • Yeah, those two are freakin theme songs for me. Have been since back in the day and still are even now that I'm an old fart...lol.

  • gary's tone on his solo is magic

  • On the Hunt may be their best tune, pleanty of soul in that one.

  • thank you, by far the most un-listened song ever played skynyrd

  • gr8 vid i own it as well vicious cycle trib tour ,austin city limits as well glad still keep tunes going as well new stuff :)

  • the sun literally just came out during "Hunt" here in Philly area after a rainy morning. Apropos.

  • Thanks for the post, especially "On The Hunt".

This is from Burgettstown, PA July 1997.

God bless Gary Rossington, Billy Powell & Co., God bless the simple man.

Anybody know why Artemus Pyle left the band?

  • Artimus Pyle left the band because of personal problems.

  • The is my second favorite Skynyrd song after "That Smell". I never understood why this got (gets) so airplay.

  • this is pretty good is this in the 90s cuz allen collins aint there?

  • 1997

  • Gary played hell of a solo in second..God save the Skynyrds, its all about the family...
