I just went to my local knife shop the other day, and they carry Lone Wolf knives. The owner told me that Lone Wolf has been sold to Benchmade. I hope Benchmade dosen't get rid of the Paul lock series. They will be showing the "new," line up of Lone Wolf knives at this years shot show in January.

I am glad someone did a review and this is a good attempt. Next time look at your monitor, or read your video camera's directions to determine the minimum focusing distance. You are too close and nearly the whole video is out of focus.

Iv'e always found there to be a lot of blade movement with that Paul locking system.

Both of my Paul locks are solid but I have heard the same thing.

I just got the Paul Defender a couple days ago and it has no play. Lone Wolf will fix the wiggle if it happens though. They put loctite to prevent it from loosening but they said it happens sometimes.

I love having a girlfriend that supports my knife addiction lol, even she loves knives, I havent figured out what to get her yet, thinkin about a pink RC Izula or pink mini grip.. she loves my izula and mini grip. today I ordered a small sebenza 21 and she didnt even freak on me for spending 330$ on 1 knife... I was suprised.. usually everyone calls me crazy..

Yea you got to love the girlfriends that put up with our hobbies!  You know you have a keeper when she lets you spend that much! I gave my girlfriend a mini Grip and she loves it. She also took my Spyderco Persistance! haha

Is is similar to 440A. It is used in knives like this Lone Wolf because it can be very highly polished. It is more of a decorative steel than a user steel.
