My grandfather fought in the Vietnam, he told me shocking stories about the horrors of the war. Once he saw his comrades raping a 9 year old Vietnamese girl and told him to come and join, he refused and said he would rather rape her mother and instead of the girl because she was too young, after my grandfather raped her mom he saw that the little girl's head was gone and there was blood everywhere. he cried so much and promised that he wont rape and kill innocents unless he's depressed or bored.

Beautiful theme song...i grew up watching the movie in my teen years...my late dad was in Saigon in the 70s... its a terrible terible tragedy for the people of Vietnam and to those foreign soldier who were there - KIA, MIA ...worse mistake ever mad after Korean War...from what we experience nowadays it seems that we never learn from the history.

USA suffered the greatest defeat in their history in Vietnam. But it wasn't (at least not only) a militar defeat, but a moral one. Their mass-murders were exposed to the whole world through tv and people saw it all, and understood at last for what their country was fighting. They realised they'd been deceived, that the US was not the bringer of freedom to the rest of the world, that profiting and achieving political goals were their true objetctives and that young people (soldiers)...
