this song is reminding me of "cindy crawford's house of style" circa 93. the piano is diva dance mayhem haha! i like it though for some inexplicable reason

God. I used to listen to 'I' so often. This was possibly my favourite track. Weren't the late 80s/dead early 90s an amazing time for creativity in pop music? A band like AR Kane just exemplified the freedom and lack of conformity of that generation.

Alex Ayuli is one of the (very) few MALES who, in my opinion, can sing--the others include Dominic Appleton of Breathless, Daniel Lanois (on his 'Acadie' album ONLY--the rest have been MAJOR disappointments), Michael Beinhorn on Material's 'Memory Serves' album, Gordon Sharp of Cindytalk (SOMETIMES!), and Russell Thompkins, Jr. on the Stylistics' first three albums...you'll find very few recordings by MALE vocalists beyond these few in MY collection, & I'm speaking as a black female, BTW!
