  • Steve, Thanks so much for donating your time and energy to helping others. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. You are such an amazing teacher.

  • Thank you Steve; great lesson! I do have a question: The point of fatigue I feel most prominently during a snatch session is not my grip or forearm muscle, but the small stabilizers surrounding the elbow--I think where the wrist flexor meets the inside elbow? I can meet the new IKFF Rank I with a 16kg, and now am working with a 20kg bell. Is this type of fatigue normal, i.e., my body is simply learning and growing (hopefully) stronger? Thanks!

  • nice breakdown of the movements makes it easier to understand! thx

  • awesome lesson, thanks so much

  • Great information Steve! Thx brother! :)

  • thank you Steve..

  • Thanks a lot, Steve.

I have definitely gleaned a few things from this despite the snatch being my main exercise.

I would love for you to go into more detail about warm-ups and ROM drills if you have the time and will to.

  • Just tried a few and I do notice that with my 'comp' bells, it feels more fluid with the handle and grip BUT my Cast iron felt more harder to bring down' - that's prob just inexperience on my part. I hope you do a vid of the swing and snatch and Clean etc with the 2 types of bells (GS & HS), and both the benefits or weaknesses of both exercise tools. Especially for beginners. A mate looked at my 16kg yellow Comps and was intimidated by size, until they realised they are standardized. cheers
