This is so beautiful and bittersweet. We are closing the very institutions that would nurture the renaissance taking place in the church throughout the world today. And it's most especially happening through the youth. Why can't they hang in there a little longer? Don't they know?

This video needs editing. It would be more effective to start the clip when the camera is stable and there is no audible conversation. If I hadn't been warned, I would not have continued to watch. Maximize viewer interest and project the best image you can!!! Prendergast and Bonner provide single gender education which is so beneficial to the young women and young men there. I hate to see it close. Prendergast is close to my heart. Class of 1964!

I'm a '98 O'Hara grad and am very disappointed to hear what's happened in the archdiocese. Both my mom's alma mater (Prendie) & my dad's (West Catholic) will be lost and that's very unfortunate. I feel bad for those up and coming graduating classes who have known their school as their own and will now graduate under a different school's name. We Are One Body was a popular tune at O'Hara back when I was there and I enjoyed watching both schools sing it here. Bonner & Prendie will be missed.

@Grannycat both Bonner and Prendie will be cosing down at the end of the 2011-2012 school year as a result of the 2012 Archdiocese of Philadelphia school closings. if you haven't heard of this dilemma look it up in the local news. I have summer camp friends who are currently attending both schools so i feel for these people.
