@buzzsaw1003 Most musicians don't use one single machine, even for a single drum pattern. like chromeo, they've used several different drum machines just for one song.
@buzzsaw1003 It has delay. It's a drum machine though, it's not meant as a stand alone instrument, filter it through a filter bank or something. I bought this recently to go along with my EMX-1 and EA-1. It's sounds good, especially for stuff like electro, but once I sequenced a drum beat made on the ER-1 through the audio in setting on the EMX-1 it sounded great with a reverb effect. Added a snare and hi-hat drum sounds from the EMX-1 and gated A Gaia through the ER-1's audio in.
its an analog emulation drum machines, there is no samples besides 1 open 1 closed hat, 1 clap and 1 cymbal (all from the 909) all other sounds are synthesised, not sampled as in the emx
there are ways to do synth lines on the er1 with the motion patern stuff, but there is no key scaling per se
the ea is a pretty nice box, 2 synths for the price of one, i remember when they got out, i bought 1 er and 1 ea and i was like yeah, 75% of rebirth on my table :)

Can you make few samples? From kick and snare.
Im not big fan of it, but maybe could make some experiment of it.

thats why i feed it into a distortion and wha and use it as a secondary drum filler, i mean, i had it, was unused, found a use for it lol

the old black one, em1 IIRC, was like that, sort of a groovebox/workstation thing like the mc505 but less(WAY less) powerfull

Gotta love the ER! Amazing box! :D
I 'regret' buying the EA instead of the EM, but buying the EA made me buy the ER later ;D
It's one of a kind!

Cool. A bit hard to see what you're doing on some of the sounds.

thanks, i know, the camera was a real old and shitty logitech cam i salvaged, it was mostly a test to see if a mic stand would do a nice tripod job
