  • sweet vtec

  • you need to put a push button and a switch on there so you can spin the motor free then put the spark to it. then it will not be so much drag on the starter

  • As if a camaro with a 10.4L engine is necesssary, i want it!

  • @MrMaxdoubleyou Does any Camaro have a smaller engine than "necessary"?

  • @KapteinOpel Yeah, those crappy optional 4 cylinders from the early '80's.

  • @corvettels9 Well I'd agree on that one. Although a perfectly normal displacement for a car of that size, it has too little hp. It should have at least 150. Anyway, its not the kind of engine I would want in a car like that. An everyday sedan, ok, but not in a sports car. Besides, a Camaro is not the same without a V8. Btw, according to wikipedia the Iron duke was the base engine, not optional. Apparently most buyers chose to upgrade.

  • @KapteinOpel yeah....what does is it have, like 88 or something? or that could be the 2.3 from the mustang...I don't remember

  • @corvettels9 85-110. Wonder why they didnt take out more? My Opel Ascona 1,6S had 90 hp.

  • timing high and starter weak those crazy russians build sick shit tho

  • dont we think timing a little high !!!

  • It looks like a town of porta-potties

  • Get a charged battery idiots.

  • @shikamano probly is charged that a pretty good sized engine that batterys probly bustin a nut tryin to turn that thing over

  • The 80's Camaro's looked like junk, but the engine in there is worth it.

  • @tyIerz06 80's were alright. it's the 93 to 2005 or so that looked ugly

  • @tyIerz06 80 camaro arnt junk they make great race cars

  • @1bad89camaro Well stock they suck compared to every other generation, they also weren't the best looking out of the Camaro's 40 year run.

  • dat rumble :)

  • are they the rednecks of russia?

  • thats not a ficking muscle car if you want a muscle car get a '69

    yenko

  • @Laprise202 or my favorite and i own one; 76 corvette Stingray

  • @Laprise202

There is a lot of problems with buying this cars in Russia...

  • in siberia? never would have guessed.. thought only caribou lived there, lolz crazy fuckin russians

  • Just set the idle about where the shift light comes on......

  • guy with the screwdriver has the right idea, why does the driver keep tellin him to lower idle speed? This engine requires 2K idle.. (annoying person at the wheel)

  • it requires 500rpm idle!!! haha, gota love low idles

  • @the5445 hahaha! that's funny! This engine still runs choppy at 1500 RPM.. This big Chevy sounds mean doesn't it?

  • yea, it sounds pretty badass

  • How the fuck did this get to russia? wtf? lol

  • I bet that you are American?

  • I bet that you are correct.

  • I wanted to say that there is life outside of America, but Americans don't get that sometimes...

  • Oh i completely understand that there is life outside of America. Just think it's sad to see an American classic being poorly set up in some mud village in russia.... lol

  • why its just a camaro and a carbd one at that i mean an idiot could have built this car lol but anyway nice car man

  • @bigtony080808 only people who say carbd is bad is people who cant work on it ;)

  • share the love of muscle cars, dont discriminate you prick.

  • Also, if that's a 10.4, that 16.4 in a Bugatti Veyron must be a BEEEEEEAAAAAAAST.

  • @Rsimon859

    the bugatti actually isn't a 16.4 liter.

Its somewhere in the 8s (Idk where exactly).

The 16 means 16 cynlinders, and 4 means 4 turbos.

  • Thank you for sharing that information with me. I didn't know that!

  • @Rsimon859

    seriously or sarcasticly?

  • Seriously.

  • too low octane timming to far advanced on a high comp engine not good

  • Hey u need to find you a wheelie contest to put that in! Check out Byron Wheelstanding Competition on here, best day to spend at the drags!

  • nasty bitch

  • Timing to far advanced!

  • why would you put a bad ass motor like that in a shit ass car like that....... damn forigner's

  • dude thats a fucking camaro. cuz ur right, that totally doesnt make any sense to put a chevy v8 into a chevy performance car...

  • big block chevy with a loaby cam doesnt get much better

  • I love the small starter, makes it sound sweet! barly turning then fires!

  • bit outa time.

and maybe needs a bigger starter.

  • still got the 12 v starter.. but sounds good though

  • what a cute little engine ^_^ lmao

  • OMFG that engine is just orgasmic

  • lord have mercy on the ricer thats fucks with you

  • nice BBC! i would leave the stock rims on the back to so no one knows what their messing with on the streets lol seriously

  • Agreed, but the sound is still a dead fiveaway that something is up with that Camaro lol

  • very sweet BBC ! set the timing at 34 degrees total advance @ 2800 rpm's & dial in the air/fuel screws on your carb. should idle at 1200-1300 rpm's ! Then go kick ass!

  • so big shit!

  • lord have mercy

  • that engine is out of time!

  • read the description, it was a test run

  • I love the woman in the background holding her face. Thank god for free countries...couldn't ever have this shit with communism.

  • That carb looks mighty small for a 632.....

  • This son of a bitch engine is probably making over 1200 foot pounds of torque all motor.

That is some SERIOUS muscle folks.

  • lol uve got 1600-1700 nm of torque coming from that motor, fukn insane,

  • The sound of American iron makes me want to say the Pledge of Allegiance.

  • 632 jesus christ

  • DOes any1 know the power a naturally aspirated 632 ci engine outs out?

  • I'm building a 632 for my 20ft rail, it will be around 1200hp, no nos, turbo nor a supercharger.

  • that is amazing, 1200 hp just from the motor. my god, and thats raw power, uve got that all times, no lag, nothing! wouldnt happen to know torque figures?

  • I'm sure they're gonna be in 1000+ I'm going to be running 1/4 mile drags. Possibly in the low 4's

  • who makes the 632? and how many lieters is it? is it even street legal?

  • 10,35 liter.

  • @handymann3

    10.4 liters. Yes. FFFFFFFFFFFFFF-

  • running nitromethane in that big block? you arent going to run 4s in anything but a nitro powered car

  • I do believe he was talking about a 20ft boat.

  • give the bitch more fuel!!!!!

  • i happen to like that body style

  • well atleast its an RS and not a berlinetta..

  • its all abaut 69camaro

  • its too far advanced thats why it hesitates

  • too advanced...thats right!

  • That american lol

Puttin huge motors in shitty cars because we can. And yea I know this isnt in america

  • shitty cars? lol. looks to me like we have a ricer on our hands. Did you notice the full rollcage? And i'd imagine 4-link. This is beautiful car.

  • I have a 67 mustang.... and yes that camero is a shitty car

  • how do you mean by shitty.

  • Those camaros are shit. Iv never drove one that ran worth a shit.... Im sure that car in the video is fast and the 632 is built well but they could have stuck it in something nicer. If you have the money to put into a motor like that then you could afford alot better doner car

  • yeah but , that car was maybe the car the guys in the vid want , maybe he like this model and it's is right , you should'nt build a car because people like or not that model , tune what ever you want and fuck the rest

  • amen! i've been preachin' that sermon for years, foxsetup. noone ever seems to listen though.

  • yea yuor rite.. i dint pay much attention to that

  • its nice but y use a t-top... that big of a motor will twist that body in a heart beat.. there is no support there...

  • It's a caged car...it doesn't matter what body they use.

  • Timed properly??? or carb not set up for a cold lumpy cam??? or starter...but doesn't seem cold enough

  • holy fucking shit!!!!

  • The block is probably cold, they are in siberia after all. And when the engine block is cold the carburetor can seize up, and the rest of the motor can seize until it's warm. The reason for needing a higher torque starter is for when it's too cold.

  • shit ain't an RS any more haha

  • That thing is gonna do backflips

  • monsterous motor...sounds nasty...in a very good way...has to have a high torque starter

  • gallons per mile is more like it...

  • either he needs to charge the battery or get another one to put alongside that one because the starter barely can turn that motor. Granted, there is more to turn here than a run of the mill car here...

  • real men don't need no stink'n windshield...

  • I think you need a badge.........LOL.

  • That made laugh

  • Uhhhh mustang killer lol

  • he thinks by holding down the throttle is gonna fix the exhaust problem... i don't think so

  • Dude, that's not his exaust. Huge displacement engine, along with a cold start and a high lift/duration cam like he has will make your engine fall on its face until it gets warmed up or tuned to idle higher. Couple that with it being carbueretted and you have one mean engine that can't keep itself running when stopped.

  • i bet u he only gets 2 mpg

  • id doesn't matter it's not like this a daily driver geo or something

  • Dude, it's not about miles per gallon, but smiles per gallon. Just imagine the looks and appreciation you'll get from everyone in your immediate area whenever you take that bad boy out!

  • @lotionfart what do u mean immediate area?!?! they will appreciate that 6 blocks away!!

  • mpg. lol!!.....exactly, not about mpg

  • dudes you need a dyno! and brakes that might rip your ass off.

  • rus :D

  • Knock knock whos there? this motor is way to advanced shame cos you aint gonna here this thing rattle over that exhaust

  • God damn! Engine looks like it weighs more than the car.

  • Car: $500 Dragster Engine: $30,000 Watching the reactions of the people in ur trail of dust when they challenge you in a street race: PRICELESS!!! :D

  • if the idle is set higher will it burn more gas

  • haha with the size of that engine it's burning enough fuel, I bet he doesn't get but 6-7mpg with that huge engine maybe a bit more but idk for sure

  • a lil' more??? you mean a little less! LOL probably like 4mpg

  • when you put an engine like that in you dont care about mpg

  • optima batteries my friend.. 2 of them !!

  • After hearing this thing start I think I need to change pants because I wet myself

  • thats not a big block thats a masive block

  • what kind of excuse for a roll cage is that?

  • you need a battery the size of a small child to crank that sucker over.

  • I've seen people with 632's use two big rig batteries.

  • you dont need big batteries i can start my cat with 1 automotive batery and that has alot more compression than that

  • True. I was just saying, I've seen it before. Definitely not needed, but it's not my money.

  • i like your rims, i want black rims.

  • they're wheels not rims rims are the edges of wheels

  • i like 5 gallons per mile. 1100 hp in that area i bet

  • bang there are 870 big blocks with 5 stages....Built by gene fulton in south carolina

  • Yeah... and the initial timing advanced too far

  • where the hell did you find a 632 i though the biggest motor GM mad was 572????

  • that's what i thought too...

  • pontiac big chief

  • world products makes a 632 you can buy it either as a short block or as a crate motor, look it up on the jegs web site

  • nope they go for $25,000 now

  • 632s are popular along with 706 and 831

  • Sounds pretty good to me. How many miles per gallon you getting?

  • more like gallons per mile lol

  • ekranoplan

  • who knew the russians like drag racing...lol...nice camaro!

  • You guys need a high torque starter lol!!!

  • Killer job on the car. Sounds awesome. I am a FORD guy living in a CHEVY world in WV but thats sa stout mill for certain nad a lightweight package. Seems like a typical 1st startup on a fresh motor/car. Takes time to get it dialed in but seems like an eventless 1st start and should be bad-ASS for the long run. Race hard work harder!!!

  • :) Thanks guys, you are all right. This engine was brand new and it was its first start. The ignition was set correctly. 18 initial and 35 total. Only thing we did for it to run better - was to lockup the distributor. This is a drag-race car only, remember that.

We took 2nd place in a major Drag Racing event in Russia this summer (DRAG-BITVA 2007). NO NITROUS :))) NOS will be turned on next year. Possibly supercharged too.

    ;)

  • lol ruskies

  • lol

  • From a mechanic. A first start on a newly installed engine will be like this. Especially with a full race cam like this one.

  • Thank you for correcting them.

  • what kind of piston rings to use for drag

  • Not if u learn how to time it.. Is a sick sounding motor, lotta cam, overlap etc

  • over advanced ignition timing WAY OVER ADVANCED!!!! back it off to a total of 34* at full advance and an initial of around 17

  • Thanks.. ur the only guy that made sense on this post .. turn that thing back a bit..

  • i agree with the timing, listen to the way that it wont run, and it takes too many cranks to start, come on guys turn the distributer just a little bit

  • sounded like the timing was to advanced.

  • is that a third world country? hahah.

  • That 632 is a very sick one, it sounds sick as in horrible. Appeared to have too much advance in the timing, and the idle screws were not set properly on the carb. Not bashing you guys, but the motor needs some tuning.

  • Thats a hell of a diagnosis for just watching a video. I've been a technician for several years, and I dont know anyone who could make a retarded comment like yours, and be right. It could be a dozen things that are causing motor to run like crap.

  • A technician for what computer controlled vehicles? Obviously you have never tuned anything as radical as the 632 here. I for one have tuned my share of race engines, and I know what I hear and see. True there could be other issues involved, i.e. cam timing etc. SO just because you are a technician makes you think I am full of it. Alright Heavy then so be it, call me what you wish.

  • Carbureted and computer controlled, domestic and foreign.I eat, shit and sleep cars.I fix other peoples cars for 11 hours a day, then I go home and toy with mine. I've met alot of folks, ametuer and pro, who would agree with my statement of 'you can't tune a car by watching some russians low quality video.'

  • i know that i probly don't know as much as either of you. my diagnosis...too lean, wrong starter (hi compresion, needs high torque). really, listen to it, too lean, thats why it won't idle, too much timing, thats why it won't idle and won't hardly start, but hey, what do i know. and to settle the beaf...tuning a comp car isn't much diff than carb, you just do it with a lap top, not a screw driver both have same principle, air/fuel/timing.

  • I can agree to that last part; absolutely.

  • the back fire is a dead give away to too much timing

  • that is the most boring video i have ever watched.

  • sweet 3rd gen

  • thats a big motor! pull up next to one of those 100ci japs and see what they think haha!

  • ha

ya but if the japs made a 632 ci gas motor it would have twice as much power while using the same amount of fuel

  • i doubt it would make that sound though!

  • "ya but if the japs made a 632 ci gas motor it would have twice as much power while using the same amount of fuel"

    No.

  • Well said...

  • sweet, thet things got some insane compression!

  • sounds serious :D

  • the guy smoking a cigarette next to the car LOL

  • is the cam a lunati?

  • hi, let me know the specs of the cam? comp. ratio? carb. cfm? cylinder heads?

  • comp 10.5:1

    bore/stroke: 632 c.i.d. = 4.600" x 4.750"

    solid roller lifter camshaft

Manley valves (2.300" intake, 1.880" exhaust)

    cylinder heads: World Merlin aluminum

Carburetor: Hardcore 1050 cfm (4500 type)

  • i also broke the holding bolts of my starter in the 406 small block engine of my 68 camaro, i dont have properly set the timing, better look with your engine

  • What 1/4 mile times you get?

  • Best ET 10.5 @ 216 kmph

We've only made 11 runs on the quarter so far. Never used Nitrous yet, so we were running 800hp and 1200 kg weight and Nitrous torque converter (very tight).
