remember: when using the WL mode through the camera (as opposed to using a transmitter/receiver), there's is a slight delay in the shutter release because the camera's pop-up fires first, then the off-camera flash units fire. It's all really quick, but for shooting models, the pop-up can make them blink just in time for the exposure. You also see the pop-up flash through your viewfinder because as I said, it happens just before the mirror flips and the shutter opens
