This is Steamboat CO. I ski with these guys all the time. And, by the way, nautybits, they always have at least three Avi packs in the group and everyone wears beacons. peace.

Well I don't see shovels on most of them, or probes. Evenifthey have beacons they still don't have all the gear they need. You cant put you life on the line and be half assed about it.

All of you retards should shut up because you really know nothing about the area and think you are cool for using fancy terms for gear. I have lived in Steamboat all my life and go skiing on Buffalo Pass (where this is filmed) all the time. The terrain is not steep enough to slide. Period.

so this area has no pathes that are over 30 der.? If that's the case then they are fine and I retract my comment about them but if not it still stands

you are correct. there are no steep pitches and most of the area is heavily covered in trees anyways. there is only one are where you can get in trouble. it is a small but steep boulder field, but the danger is more due to breaking legs on rocks than anything else.
