this may not be the best game, and i had my doubts, but it was actually very enjoyable. I wouldn't really say its worth 50 dollars but I just dont think it sucks quite as much as a lot of people here say.

I will never understand why people complain about this. The first Prince of Persia was in the 80s, different from the Prince from SOT trilogy, and so is this Prince. There have been many different Princes of Persia, it's all a matter of trial and error, we will always get a new Prince with a new story after the other Prince's story is done.

Yes, but is the game entertaining. In the 80´s that game was incredible. And the SOT thrillogy had the best combat mechanics (well Sands of Time and Warrior Within) we have ever had seen. And the Sands had a dark and incredible storyline. But... This new prince of persia... We have seen all this, and the fact that you can't die doesn't make it entertaining because it isn't hard anymore. And the new game doesn't have anything unique. Nothing outstanding. The other games did.
Dude imagine instead of falling and Elika helping you, imagine falling and dying, lots of times. It would break the flow of this game, so the Elika help system in this game actually works in my opinion.
The fights in the game are good.... thats the only good thing about it, the story is badly writen you can't die and the ending suck shit through a straw,.. i love the sands of time but not this game... >.>
It's really annoying that you have to collect SO MUCH light-seed stuff, that it's criminal. I'm getting pissed off going back and forth collecting those things.
First sands of time was very fun and simple, second was emmo and less fun but had awesome combat, third was perfection with all the sneaking u can do in it and its amazing story wrap up.
This new prince of persia is dull, the story isnt as compelling as the sands of time trilogy which was a thousand times better than this.

The games characters has a good and funny personality and alot of the time you rather wanna stand around hear their dialog then moving foward, The Combat as you saw is pretty much included with agile moves and magic teamwork.
but the story is basicly the same all along... subdue the bad guys, heal the fertile ground and move on...
now i gave you some info, it's up to you to jugde wether or not you want this game...
if your looking for a good single player game and a good storyline then this is one game that you should get.after your done with it though there is hardly anymore reason for you to play with it.its still an awesome game though

No. Don't care for the DLC. It isn't that great also. They added an Extra "New" Plate which is nothing but a Blue Plate changed to Violet Color. Also combat has only one extra move - The Running Sword Attack.
Overall a pretty lame DLC. I am a big POP fan. I have played all their games from 1989.
If the sequel goes bad, i am not playing any more POP games.

ubisoft still managed to pull off a good sale according to this game...but however it would have been a bigger success if they didn't decide to go with "the new look," but instead kept the sands of time trilogy still going on the 360 and ps3 platform with this new game......jus thinkin out aloud

This game is annoying, the controls are clunky (the control stick), Elika is annoying as hell for instance you're trying to execute a jump in a pole and just when you're about to jump that ass jumps right infront of you and thanks to that you die. Combat is annoying, you don't have teh same agility as past titles you move 100 times SLOWER and it's the same god damned enemies OVER and OVER! Ubisoft completely dissappointed me with this shit.

2. Who the hell wasn't annoying in the PoP games, first it was fara for freaking out on you all the time, then the prince for being a douchebag and not doing what you want him to, then it was the dahaka.
3.Combat will always be annoying, thats how it is.

Lastly, never make your expectations high, that way, when the creators fail, you aren't as disappointed. I don't have to play the game to realize it's greatness. As long as you have years of gaming experience under your belt, you can ust tell weither or not a game will be great.
That's your opinion, I think it rocked. You can unlock the Farah skin in this version, so there you go. And if you want Sands of Time back, then install it on your computer and play it.

I just completed this game. Don't know what the developers were thinking when they were making this game and Assassin's Creed. I'm beginning to lose faith in Ubisoft. I just hope they don't screw with Splinter Cell Conviction.
Another problem with HD gaming. Sometimes HD can be too much especially on 1080p. I don't know what the developers are trying to do to my eyes. PoP and Mirror's Edge are too much. Developers this days.

Wow! I found that the first one wasn't bad but then the second one was prob one of the absoulute best games ive ever played! and the third one was alright. And i thought of this one as a new start! So I did like it and I did'nt compair it to the other PoPs cause its completle different!

The bad point of the game is that the prince never die.. as a result, there is no challenge when you face enemies... You already know that at last you will kill them cuz the prince don't die!!
Depends On your choice man. If you love to create, share and play levels with your friend, but mind you in 2D Style Camera Angle then go for Little Big Planet. Personally i hate this game as i am used to POP, DMC, GOW and shooters.
If you are a Big Fan of the previous prince of persia especially Warrior Within AVOID Prince Of Persia 2008.
But if you love Sands Of Time, Hate Warrior Within or have never played POP before yeah then this game is Surely Recommended. This is a game to relax....
im a big pop fan but this game is way better than the old ones, and if u dont agree thats ur opinion i guess. the story is AMAZING, but the combat could do with some improving , but u wont enjoy the game if u keep wanting it 2 be like the old ones the both have good and bad points ,
Well, technically you are right. This game has FAAR lesser glitches than the Previous ones. But the previous ones especially Sands Of Time and Warrior Within on the PC(I had some glitches on the PS2 but none on the PC), they were AMAZING games. Really enjoyable.
This game could have been a Lot Better IMO and its a good game. But it just misses that Feel or Badassness IMO.
Combat is clunky, Platforming is all "Do it Yourself" and game was "TOO EASY". WW almost made me break my keyboard lol.
Managed to finish the game today, really cool :) Had one funny moment in the end, cause when I cut that tree, I received one life seed, thus having 666 of them :D That was kinda scary :)

just great.

I just completed this game. Don't know what the developers were thinking when they were making this game and Assassin's Creed. I'm beginning to lose faith in Ubisoft. I just hope they don't screw with Splinter Cell Conviction.
Another problem with HD gaming. Sometimes HD can be too much especially on 1080p. I don't know what the developers are trying to do to my eyes. PoP and Mirror's Edge are too much. Developers this days.

I really had high hopes for this game considering the others were so good(I liked Warrior Within the best). But as soon as I started playing this one I was soooo dissapointed! It's not the same prince, the fighting sucks, and the storyline is boring! If ur a Prince of Persia fan, this game might change ur mind...

Wow! I found that the first one wasn't bad but then the second one was prob one of the absoulute best games ive ever played! and the third one was alright. And i thought of this one as a new start! So I did like it and I did'nt compair it to the other PoPs cause its completle different!

in the first 2 hours i pressed "Y" and she started glowing at the circle...
-.- the game had a glitch she sat there glowing for 10 mins and i had to turn my 360 off...
but its fun and its gay how you can't die though theres no challenge at all and i'm a hardcore gamer!

yeah me to. thats why i hated bad company single player cos you can just constantly heal yourself but i think i will like this game cos platformers do my nut in when i cant figure out what ive got do. probably the only types of game where i only like a small challenge. everything else i always play on the harder difficulties

The bad point of the game is that the prince never die.. as a result, there is no challenge when you face enemies... You already know that at last you will kill them cuz the prince don't die!!

Depends On your choice man. If you love to create, share and play levels with your friend, but mind you in 2D Style Camera Angle then go for Little Big Planet. Personally i hate this game as i am used to POP, DMC, GOW and shooters.
If you are a Big Fan of the previous prince of persia especially Warrior Within AVOID Prince Of Persia 2008.
But if you love Sands Of Time, Hate Warrior Within or have never played POP before yeah then this game is Surely Recommended. This is a game to relax....

im a big pop fan but this game is way better than the old ones, and if u dont agree thats ur opinion i guess. the story is AMAZING, but the combat could do with some improving , but u wont enjoy the game if u keep wanting it 2 be like the old ones the both have good and bad points ,

Well, technically you are right. This game has FAAR lesser glitches than the Previous ones. But the previous ones especially Sands Of Time and Warrior Within on the PC(I had some glitches on the PS2 but none on the PC), they were AMAZING games. Really enjoyable.
This game could have been a Lot Better IMO and its a good game. But it just misses that Feel or Badassness IMO.
Combat is clunky, Platforming is all "Do it Yourself" and game was "TOO EASY". WW almost made me break my keyboard lol.

Managed to finish the game today, really cool :) Had one funny moment in the end, cause when I cut that tree, I received one life seed, thus having 666 of them :D That was kinda scary :)
