u gotta b kidden me! japs find distortion box& think they can lay a bomb on us! worst guitar & singer ever, what kind of nonsence is the 2 minute guitar finale! sounds like they found a monkees chord book& did a sped up song of im a believer, these guys are the worst ive eer heard, ive heard better leads from my 9 yr. old son/ bad,but nostaligic
I'm sure that I'm being redundant by saying that The Golden Cup Was a restaurant in Hollywood where alot of street people hung out. I'm sure everyone knows this little tid bit of trivia. I'm also sure that you've all heard the original Leaves version which is on You Tube. This is a good version because of the EP.
This is what happens when it's impossible to even get a hold of pot so your only choice to get psychedelicized is to huff paint thinner by the tin-full. Luckily in this case to great results.
The Golden Cups sang a lot of songs , phonetically , like "I'm So Glad , "Got My Mojo Workin'", "One More Time" (Them) , and others , in English . I attended a forum on Group Sound music , and Louise - Louis , the Golden Cups' bassist , said his style was most influenced by Paul Samswell - Smith (Yardbirds) and Joe Kelley/ The Hawk (Shadows of Knight). He sounds like all three of them , here! Possibly the greatest , and most insane GS CUT , EVER.
What I like most about this version is it's youthful enthusiam. Taking nothing away from the Cups' creativity, it's Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd meets The Moody Blues, The Beach Boys meets Jefferson Airplane, with a strong Brittish flavor directed/composed by the previously mentioned Tarantino.
Summer of Love - acid rock. Great job guys. Thanks for this version and thank you for posting.

Man, if only Japanese music had stayed like this instead of disintegrating into the fashion-preoccupied drivel it has become.

もちろん、ルイズルイス加部のベースも凄いですが、ケネス伊東のヴォーカルとカッティングが個性的!
ケネス伊東のようなヴォーカルとギターのカッティングって、古今東西、他にいないのでは?

Probably the best version I've heard, fuzz psyche genius, an I thought 'the leaves' version rocked this is like blue cheer on 'a' grade acid.
