  • capacitive

  • how long is it going to take for nokia to create a responsive phone and a platform that works instead of symbian shit

  • U can slide like that, slide? U call that slide??? Omg Nokia know nothing obout slide and scroll its like 2 fps!

  • The real phone has no lags...

  • this phone still doesn't have full kinetic scrolling...it doesn't support it on the menus..!!like if you're browsing for an app

  • maybe they'll release a firmware update for that..

  • Now listen you fag. First, i´m sweedish, second,. i had a brain aneurysm that bursted a couple of months ago. Do you really think, that you should talk to me like that? Recovery of my Speech takes some time!

  • Sorry) im not so bad as you think) and i'm russian! ^_^

  • what is RDA though?and where can i see this kind of RDA?

  • I think it´s only for Nokia Developers

  • Yes, this is their best Symbian phone, but it's quite limited compared to the Nokia N900's Maemo.

  • so n900 is supposed to be better than this?

but that is resitive touch this Capasative :)

  • Resistive screens have advanced a lot, just look at the youtube hands-on videos of the n900, the screen seems to be extremely sensitive. Some journalists that have had their hands on it say that it's almost as sensitive as a capacitive one. Plus the Maemo OS seems to be so much better than Symbian.

  • can i ask you?what is more better capacitive or resistive?and waht's the diff. betwen the them?...

  • Capacitive measures the electricity of your skin so even the slightest touch is detected. Pros: -extremely sensitive -multitouch (only on a few cap. phones) Cons -doesn't work very well in cold temps. -requires skin contact, so not finger nail or glove friendly Resistive screens have two conductive layers extremly close to each other. It senses where the layers are pressed together by a finger or other object. Pros: -accurate -can be used with a stylus or finger(+nail) Cons: -requires pressure
  • thanks!

  • capacitive not capasative..=) hey, capacitive is better than resistive right?

  • hell yeah man way more responsive and smoooooth

  • the resistive or capacitive?hhmmm..

  • capactiive man, esp mt

  • yep, maemo and android are going to be taking over the whole market soon. They just work so well, I find android software on the g1 more enjoyable than the iphones. And maemo will be aimed at the high end buisness users, due to its capabilities and relation to desktops/laptops.

  • so is this supposed to be thier new flagship?

  • it seems like Nokia is trying to compete with iPhone for real this time. Yea, it could be their new flagship model!

  • what is better resistive or capacitive?

  • capacitive. All day long :)
