I just thought it is ironic that Abed is wearing an evil goatee a reference to Star Trek which NBC foolishly cancelled after 3 seasons which they might do with Community after 3 seasons! Another irony is after Trek was cancelled the ratings system changed and would not have been cancelled if under the new rating system, with DVR's and internet, the rating system has changed again! I wonder if NBC is taking in consideration DVR's and Internet ratings or still using the old ratings system?

@ComedyActionGuys My Name is Earl had run its course, Scrubs DEFINITELY had, Joey was terrible and Firefly was Fox's doing. Also, of what I saw of it, Las Vegas was fine, but it was no Sopranos. Yet Las Vegas got 5 seasons and the Sopranos got 6. I don't think you can compare this show to any of those.

In my sense of humor, he is the "Ensemble Darkhorse" (of Community) and makes the show funny. If he's not in an episode, I'm disappointed and find it hard to laugh. I have watched the show for the first 2 seasons ONLY because I wanted to see when John Oliver would show up as the hilarious Professor Duncan. Because he isn't a main cast member on the show (which the Pilot episode led me to believe), I could care less if it gets cancelled.
