Incorrect. The War of 1812 was partially instigated by the British who boarded our merchant vessels on the high seas and kidnapped sailors for their own navy illegally. We also did have a navy in the Revolutionary War. A small navy compared to the British Navy but a navy nonetheless. Ever heard of John Paul Jones? Back then states had much more independent sovereign power. Each state had it's own autonomous militia. The 2nd Amendment gives the militia AND citizens the right to bear arms.

President Obama's nominations for new Supreme Court justices are subject to the House of Representatives and the Senate, which are controlled by a majority of Democrats. So there is a good chance that he can push his liberal agenda not only into the Supreme Court but also through the House of Representatives. However the Senate is not filibuster-proof, so if the bill is really anti-second Amendment we can only hope and pray that no Republicans turn traitor and the bill will be vetoed.

Funds can be appropriated and redistributed from certain programs and/or can be made more efficient so that more money is made available to drug enforcement. It doesn't always mean more taxes. Obama takes it well beyond simple background checks. He wants handgun free zones for everyone, not just criminals. He is against CCW (one of the only *statistically proven* crime reducing methods). As for the scenario you just mentioned, I'm not even going to go there because it's ridiculous to say that I'm not entirely supportive of the 2nd Amendment because I don't think a mentally deranged man should be able to bear arms on my personal property.

Carrying provides the possibility for defense in the situation that you just mentioned. And you may not know this, but just because you are shot does not necessarily mean that it is an immediately incapacitating wound. I have seen officers shot in the FACE survive to return fire. If it's not in the head or central nervous system, it's not always going to put someone down immediately. So the possibility exists to return fire. When you take CCW training, you learn proper use of force.

My solution to inner city shootings would be to increase funding to anti-narcotics law enforcement agencies both federal and local. The Border Patrol & Coast Guard would benefit from increased funding. They stop a lot of the drugs that come into the country that cause a lot of these problems related to gang violence. In terms of school kids with guns, a lot of that has to do with parenting and responsibility at home in securing firearms and teaching proper respect for firearms.

My advice to you is to BUY NOW all extended magazines for your assault weapons or semiautomatic rifles or carbines and even pistols. Obama has already pledged to reinstate the assault weapons ban, but he cannot touch what you already own. Buy as many magazines as you can by January of 2009 just to be on the safe side. If he tries to pass it I think the senate may block it and if the senate doesn't block it then you will already have the magazines "grandfathered" in.

What you call "running around with guns willy nilly" is a statistically proven crime reducing method. It is PROVEN to reduce crime, as I said in my video. I gave you the examples of at least three states where crime was drastically reduced by introducing concealed carry into the state.

1. I will never support gay marriage. It is against the principles of most major religious groups the world over, not even just my particular religion. Christians, Muslims, & Jews overwhelmingly think this is a bad idea and against their fundamental principles.

2. I will never condone murder. Did you know that there are hundreds of thousands of parents that are just waiting to adopt a baby? If you don't want the kid, give it away to a loving family, don't murder it because you are selfish

and yeah i know theres alot of families that want babies but do you know what it feels like to squeeze an 8 pound baby out of a hole the size of a pencil? unwanted pregnancys arent carried out because they are just that "unwanted" carrying it and birthing it takes the point out of it being unwanted in the first place.

I'd rather allow teachers and adult students to carry their own weapons so that they can stop people from shooting up their school. When you outlaw guns, then only outlaws will have guns. Assault weapon bans only serve to disarm law-abiding citizens. Do you think criminals care what kind of weapons bans we have in place? that way they know that their victims can't defend themselves. I'm not going to allow any man to tell me when, how and IF I can defend myself.
