I disagree with a lot of these comments. You did not do a terrible job, I've seen about 20 other youtube videos of people performing the same monologue. Durang is an amazing writer, but this monologue is very dry to be funny. It can't be performed without someone questioning the reality of it. Sure, it's an absurd play, but you get the point. I love how you performed it. It was actually quite refreshing.

Wow, that was awful. You improvised about 80% of the monologue. If you don't have enough respect for the playwright to remember the lines, then you shouldn't preform. Seriously, that was a slap in the face to theater.

she probably just got nervous. it happens to the best of us. but i think she did a good job of improving.

yeah she butchered it. I used this for my audition into Douglas Anderson...and it was great. i wish i had video of that...lol

i agree. nerves must of gotton to her or something. she messed up quite a lot. goldendove is right about the last line.

Oooo, poor girl, nerves must have gotten her. She fumbled a couple of times and her articulation needs a bit of work.
And the ending line, I believe, is "Nothing seems worth trying if Tinkerbell is just going to die."
