  • Sucks that don't have a lot of medieval films anymore because they don't make a lot of money compare to comic crap remaking films errrr

  • FILM IS PERFECT!

  • My father and i love this movie sooo much, such great acting and the thing that i like about it most is how they portray Saladin. He's portrayed as a respectful, honest and intelligent leader. I know its wrong, but they're a stereotype for muslims in movies sometimes, portraying them as mindless zealots that only think about killing "heretics". Saladin is wise and a great leader and i applaud Ridley Scott for making him that way.

  • The directors cut is one of my favorite "epic" movies. The studio should have had released that version in theatres instead of the cut up mess they ended up with. Love the trailer music. Still haven't found out the name of the song though.

  • salahudin is cool

  • Whoever edited this had ADD.

  • Why was the king wearing a mask?

  • @ContinentalPatriot cuz hes gay and ashamed of it

  • @ContinentalPatriot The king was wearing a mask because he had lepers. A disease which eats away at the flesh.

  • @ContinentalPatriot he was lepper

  • @LPRB4EVER leper*

  • song name?

  • I can understand why some people didn't like the movie (for certain aspects), but this is without a doubt one of the best epics of all time. Ridley Scott is the master at making an epic and this is definitely proof of that; great actors, performances, visuals, cinematography, and a hauntingly beautiful score take this film through a journey of religion, sacrifice, and love that only Ridley could accomplish and i have to agree with 'majesticmaniac' with it beating both Troy and Alexander together

  • its the best movie ive ever seen.. at least better than all those shitty 300, immortals etc like movies

  • @MrDR7no are you kidding me!? Immortals was a freaking outstanding film! 300 on the other hand, BIG let-down

  • I remember watching the Theatrical Version and I liked it but had been expecting more. But when I watched the Director's Cut I fell in love with it. It felt like I hadn't seen the movie before.

  • sorry guys, but is this movie scary? i wanna watch it alone, but im not really sure if i should haha

  • @00Sunlight It is quite violent and gruesome at times. But it should be okay for anyone over 16.

  • @amgaaaad did younsaw or understood the movie? Saladin (sorry can t write his name in thre arabic way) was a man who believed in chevallery and that chosed to let the crusaders leave Jerusalem and rescued many thousand warriors and civilsts and the holy city isvproven history

  • any luck on finding the name of this song ? :D

  • 0:46 Saladin's computer lagging XD

  • Excellent movie!

  • good movie but shouldn't be considered as history .

  • this movie is seriously historically inaccurate :( ... the history of the muslims and salah el deen should not be represented in anyway bad .coz it's an epic history indeed .

  • @amgaaaaad huh? Saladin wasn't represented bad in this movie.

  • You need to watch the directors cut dude its like 10 times better than the theatrical cut

  • LOL Harold and Kumar go back to Medieval Levant.

  • i love the soundtrack and orlando bloom and miranda kerr <3

  • Just saw the directors cut! It's an amazing movie!

  • great film but i hate the part where the new stupid king who`s thinking only on war and bring a lot of army to just lost and die to a trap

  • @carval51 lol, well what can you do, they had to keep some of what happened in the film ;)

  • The film is great. Even better than Gladiator.

  • Orlando his hot in here :P

  • If someone makes an music only version of this I will make this person my God!

  • Salahuddin was a fucking boss.

  • i love the soundtrack soo much it makes me dream <3

  • this film is awesome, trailer is awesome music suits very well

so just shut up and enjoy. Do not like? fuck off!

  • Good film, but did anybody else get a little annoyed by the amount of times the word "god" was said

  • @lukeyboymufc1990 are u serious? The title has the word "heaven" in it, the plot concerns both Christians and Muslims who worship "god". Of course the word is going to pop up constantly. That's like complaining the word "wasted" or "stoned" was said too much in a movie like Harold and Kumar.

  • @truboricua No but i mean they went over the top to the point were it was getting in your face

  • Nice video, bad music. Same trailer with more epic music:

    watch?v=ZEdSxfLKgyg

  • MUSIC FITS VERY WELL!

  • Can someone please kindly tell me what guitar soundtrack starts playing at 0:34

  • Easily one of the best war epics of the last decade. Beats both Troy and Alexander ten folds in brain and brawn. Had great performances, specially by Edward norton who gave a phenomenal act considering he had such a great handicap as an actor. No face. and boy did that Salladdin dude have some personality.. I guess the problem with this movie was it was based on religion, and essentially when it comes to religion, every person on this planet is biased. Whether they r religious themselves or not

  • @majesticmaniac I totally agree with you how great this story is.

But I don't think it is a problem that the movie is based on religion, (although is will have affected box office sales). Not everybody is biased, you don't have to pick a side. Both the muslims and christians have honorable and power-hungry characters.

While the story line is about religion and christians vs muslims, I think the movie is really about good vs evil and doing the right thing. "Holiness is in right actions",

  • @majesticmaniac Watched this movie for the 3rd time yesterday.I absolutely love this movie I don't see why it got such bad reviews on rotten tomatoes. The story seems so relevant because of the blood shed around that part of the world even today. It hits religion and its absurdities hard.

Although I had some problems with how the main character being a blacksmith was more knowledgeable about military strategy than anyone on the christian side

  • @NenoBrown24 I kinda got thrown off about the Orlando knowing military tactics too. But at the beginning he says that he built war machines and went to war with the French. I think that is where he got his military experiences.

  • I like the movie, but the soundtrack does not fit in my opinion.

  • this is easily the best movie trailer I have ever seen. Shame the movie didnt live up to the awesomeness of it.

  • Yes I want to know the song ;)

  • if anyone can tell me the song title with the guitar i will be greatly thankful

  • Riptide music/joe webb - ghost rise. It can be found nowhere :(

  • This movie always reminds me of the first Assassin's Creed. :)

  • What's that sound? I love it.

  • 1:27 fucking bad ass moment ever!

  • orlando bloom is one sexy human being

  • The thing that makes Ridley Scott so good is the cinematography and the way he can create epic scales. Kingdom of Heaven is my favorite film. Lots of people say it isn't as good as Gladiator, but IMO, its music and atmosphere are just much grander.

  • historically it was a bit off and exaggerated but as a movie it was terrific

  • This movie is for true connoisseurs of cinema art back neophytes and lacking in intellect the best work of Rydley Scoot a piece of pure art collection.

  • the directors cut of this film, is for lack of a better word, theatrical. it is long, but keeps you gripped. the soundtrack is phenomenal and the characters are developed and deep and the film is surprisingly unbiased. the only way to enjoy the film is watching the directors cut.

  • I learned all of this history from Age of Empires! then I wanted to see this movie!

  • I first watched the theatrical cut and then the directors cut. And I immediately realized what a shit they've made of such a great movie.

  • ""I think film wasn't very good "" Uploader descripsion ?!?!

Are you kidding me ? Best movie ever made (with Gladiator) Dude !

  • @KarniksCCCP1 IT IS VERY GOOD FILM....BUT THAT SENTENCE OF "BEST MOVIE EVER MADE" ALWAYS IS ABSURD!

  • I saw the Director's Cut version first then the Theatrical version, and I think the extended version is a billion times better than the one they showed in theater. The ridiculous effort of trying to cut the film into a regular two hour mindless commercial action film has killed a true masterpiece.

  • The extended version is far better than the theatrical version. Theres far more Ed Norton for a start

  • KoH = bullshit

  • This is one of the best movie trailers I've ever seen. There's no ridiculous voice-over, it's not filled with all the good one-liners, and the entire story isn't summed up for you in two and half minutes like most trailers do these days. Instead, we see glimpses of great action scene and a sprinkling of dialogue that gives us the gist of what the movie is about: the Crusades, and, ultimately, religion.

If you haven't seen this yet, be sure to watch the Director's Cut.

  • @GileadsFinest THIS FILM IS GREAT!...BUT THE VOICE OVER ISENT A BAD TOOL!!...IN FACT SOME OF THE BEST NARRATED FILMS ARE VOICE OVER LIKE "APOCALYPSE NOW", "THE TIN RED LINE", "PLATOON", "TAXI DRIVER", "GOODFELLAS", "THE AGE O INNOCENCE" (THESE LAST 3 ARE FROM MARTIN SCORSESE)....IN FACT SCORSESE IS MAYBE THE BEST DIRECTOR WHO CAN USE THE VOICE OVER...BUT I DONT LIKE THE VOICE OVER IN "GANGS OF NEW YORK" FROM MARTY,I FOUND IT UNNECESARY!

  • @Gaston088able

OMFG I CAN USE CAPZ TOOO.

  • @Stykernag SO??? DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM BECAUSE I WRITE LIKE THIS????

  • @GileadsFinest hollywoods version of religion is self-serving and aggressive. it attacks their livelihood, so their take on any major religious battle (if it involves christianity) is usually a farce.

this movie may be well made - but actors playing major religious figures? Please. think about who writes this stuff and why.

  • @elenore88 and most 'heros' in any movie would fuck anything that made them look good in real life.

so what you're seeing is a portrayal of a bunch of people making up a fantasy to entertain. how accurate it is, is relative. at best.

  • @GileadsFinest The Director's Cut for this was one of the most outstanding and incredible things i have ever seen; top-notch and believable

  • the song doesn't come with guitars though... the beginning bit alanis morrisette "hope"... the middle bit anyone?

  • christians lost in the end of the crusades and jerusalem went back to Muslims

  • DAM

  • whats the name of that song

  • @MultiTumke Hope, Jonathan Elias. Song recognition ftw<3 I love my phone ;D

  • Theatrical Cut was ok.

    Directors Cut is a masterpiece.

  • Directors cut is a must see - totaly different from the theatrical release

  • I think you should rewatch it in Director's Cut!

  • Thank you for uploading. This trailer is amazing!

  • unfortunately after Salah Din, the Islamic world didn't see any Heros !

(except Tariq Ibn Zyiad & the conquist of Iberia, & ofc the brave Navy of the Ottomans).

  • Comment removed

  • See the Director's Cut. It is way more awesome than the theathical cut!

  • didnt like the song.... spoils everything

  • Trailer neglects to mention that Edward Norton's in this movie too.

  • SALADIN wasn't stright he was a gay =

  • @mustafaalmalkey this is only a rumour with no historical baces. Its a common thing of our days to accuse great men for homosexuality like its a crime instead of admiting their contribution to the world

  • Lord of the rings... Except for without characters we care about

  • i would give anything for the songs in this trailer :(

  • i thought the movie was very good. i would recomend it to anybody who is into the code of true knighthood and dedication and faith in god

  • You mention in the description that you've seen only the theatrical cut which I agree sucks. The director's cut of this film makes it one of Scott's finest films. My advice - watch it. It's a shame what how the studios butchered this film.

  • @bobivd6688

I agree completely. The director's cut is excellent. One of my favorites!!

  • this is a serious piece of badass!

  • what I hate about this movie is that they portray Saladin and his army as evil when in reality they were good men.

  • @chixie91 I always thought (in my youth before learning history) Richard the "lionheart" meant he was a good person, courageous, kind, had a good-heart. Then I learned he slaughtered muslims right?

  • @DeathlyDavid yes you're right. I've learnt history as well.

  • @chixie91 Did you see the same film as I did? What I love about this movie is that they DON'T portray Saladin and his army as evil but as a side of a horrible conflict. We even see that Saladin was provoked into a war he didn't want.

  • @chixie91 Really? If you discount the views of the Christian zealots who wanted nothing more than power (such as Reynald and Guy), Saladin is probably the most respected person in the movie. Besides the Hospitaler, he's the most likeable as well.

  • your sound is all wrong.. soften drums n guitar have some sound from the movie.. just totally can tell this is homemade

  • This trailer was different than most others... I've seen many trailers, but I think this managed to communicate the feeling of the movie to us without revealing too much about the plot or giving away the best one-liners. Made me curious, and that's a good thing...

  • A movie based on one of the most epic eras of mankind. A world where the middle east meets west. A world where two religions meet. A city, a land, sacred, for thousands of years.

All of the hearts of men were on the city of Jerusalem. The city of our Lord. The future, ever lasting, kingdom of heaven, on earth.

    Amen.

  • @dishwasherman83 And now murderers (Israel, Zionists) have control over it,

  • May the Knight Templars live forever!

  • Salah-ha-diin!

  • @Noodles37UK

    '

    nice assassins creed was dope!

  • @Izziana Is that the hasishasins you mean? Like that's where the word assassin comes from. Iayalars were frontline hash head nutcases for the Ottomans lol!

  • I think it was a very good choice to cast Edward Norton as King Baldwin... Must say I was a bit surprised when I figured it out, but it was good.

  • Why the hell do they put such crappy music on movie-trailers like this one.

  • Dude you need to watch the extended cut it's outstanding. Just improves the film in so many ways especially in characterisation, making individual motives clearer and filling in some plot holes. Even developing on themes which the theatrical version was unable to do due to time constraints. I think this film was far too impressive for theatrical release they don't have enough time to fully develop the extensive characters, epic plot and far reaching themes.

  • what is the name of this guitar song?

  • Sun Tzu, greatest general of all time. Modern generals who borrow wisdom from him end up winning. The Chinese were the masters of war craft, that is why the Arabs could never conquer them and till this day are scared to fuck with them. The only reason that the Muslims survives the Mongol invasion is because Genghis Khan died suddenly, and his successors fought among themselves, otherwise Buddhism would be the religion of the middle east. At least we wouldn't have Islamic terrorism.

  • yes u "won" the crusades but guess what christians won the reconquista, the battle for india amd the fight against the ottomans. and to this day US troops are beating the crap out of fudemnetalists like u right now in afganistan.

    US casulties- 1500

    muslim casulties- 1,000,000+

there's a crusade happening right now and Christians are winning it. -.-

by the way im athiest and u fundamentalists made me see the bible for what it was a brainwashing tool to turn people like u intohate filed jihadists

  • @DavidBendele our cause for the defense of our land, your cause is occupation, its not something to be proud of when you kill over 1000000 people. second Jihad means struggle, and a jihadist can be anyone, anyone who struggles and has the will to do what he does for the sake of God is jihad, since I'm studying abroad I consider it jihad...... learn your facts.

  • @DavidBendele your leader has conned your people in a war where you will never win you will lose like Russia did you have won minor fights in da end you will retreat back home and leave us middle eas will become great look what is happening now open your eyes

  • @DavidBendele your leader has conned your people in a war where you will never win you will lose like Russia did you have won minor fights in da end you will retreat back home and leave us middle eas will become great look what is happening now open your eyes

  • Freaking awesome movie

  • what's the name of the song in the trailer?

  • @GamerElite1000 we won ALLAHU AKBAR :) i wish what they say will be true about planet X so we can go back to the dark ages thats where the muslims are unbeatable. The general of the muslims in this movie is not the best known the muslims ever had. One briljant general who defeated also the roman empire and the persians is non the less than Khaled ibn al walied but this one gets props to :).

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid ahahahahahaha!!!! your stupid. first off that "general" one of the greatest leaders of all time Salahudin al ayyub, was much better than Khaled ibn al walied, who defeated an incredibly weakened persian, and byzantine, yes Byzantine not roman army you stupid towel head, because the two empire had been fighting for 100's of yearsand had beat each other senseless. ur "empire" was just the result of scavenging weak territories from two weak empires. lol

  • @DavidBendele I wonder if there is a reason why, Alexander was named "The Great" . Think about it.

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid it tokk u 800 years to destroy the byzantine empire because of your worhtless camel riding peasants were slaughtered every time they sieged constntinople. ever heard of the reconquista?? thats were the spanish mercilessly slaughtered ur brethren until there were none left in spain. ya muslims were definantly unbeatable. , hows osama doin' :) oh ya last time i checked he got his head blown off by a US navy seal. ur a pathetic ignorant piece of crap.

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid You guys never seem to brag about your attempts at invading and trying to conquer China during the dark ages. I guess talking about how entire Muslim armies would never return from battle with the Chinese (and later Mongolians) is not something to brag about. Saladin, brilliant general??? My ass. Sun Tzu, Guan Yu, Genghis Khan, now those are great generals. Oh..... lest we forget, Norman Scharzkopf and David Patraeus.

  • @808SoulJahxXx Am sorry but i don't believe in Lies. Do me a favor and search up "Khaled Ibn al walied" on wikipedia and get the privileg to know the best General ever. Not one battle lost and and destroyed the Roman and Persian empire. Thats like an Army destorying the USA at this time cause Romans were the supper powers at that time and Khalied wiped them out of the map ;)

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid I don't believe in lies either. The Roman Empire (Byzantines) had numbers on their side, but they were a shadow of their former selves. He could never have beaten the legions of Augustus or even Constantine for that matter. By this time, the empire had shrunk to 1/3 of its size, with barbarians in full control of the city of Rome itself. As for the Persians, they were nowhere close to their former glory as when Darius ruled. Again, nothing to brag about.

  • @808SoulJahxXx 40.000 muslims under Command of Khalied owned 200.000 Romans yup outnumbered alright *Sarcasm. To me khaled is the best commander Not one Battle lost just show that he was the best.

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid So what, an 8 man squad of Navy SEALS can wipe out a million boy scouts, it's still nothing to brag about. For Christ's sake, the Visigoths handed the Romans their asses around the same time. Defeating the Roman Empire at this point in history is NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT!!! The Roman Empire was a superpower in name only by this time. If they couldn't even beat barbarian peasants with pitchforks, then a professional army defeating them is not very impressive!

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid The greatest commander that ever lived is for sure Alexander the great.

  • @Rihel004 In your opinion and plus he was Fag

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid I don't care if he was gay or not. He was the greatest commander ever lived. That's proof from anicent and modern historians. Teached by Aristoteles himself, raised by Philip the second of macedonia, to become a king and mighty warrior. The legend tells that he was a son o Zeus himself. Conquered the mighty Persian empire, egypt and even parts of northern India. That's greatness.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh man i wish i was side by side with those muslims shouting, ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR and fight the enemy :(

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid Thats a Pretty low thing to say. As it is typically used as a Battle Cry. That Makes you a Warmongerer, Or a racist, either that or have no regard for love and other poeple, But Violence and hatred. Making you unworthy of your religion, or any others. TO gloat of a battle victory is a fools game, as there will be a day when somebody comes and turns it all around.

  • @KhaledxIbnxAlxWalid One would be better off fighting the enemy within oneself than out on the battlefield, that is the greater fight.

  • someone know the name of the song of thiss trailer??

  • @crisot18 Hope by Jonathan Elias from the album THE PRAYER CYCLE

  • @Tchocke12 yes the vocals are from hope but the music, kinda rock ballad, isnt :D

  • @Tchocke12 Thanks!

  • @crisot18 hope.. jonathan elias

  • Brilliant movie! I wonder if it was shown in Israel does anyone know?

  • OMG, Orlando Bloom ♥♥

  • Nice trailer, but it moves way to fast at end.

  • Great trailer, but, it doesn't exactly explain what the movie is about..

  • Does anyone know what the accoustic song is on the start of the trailer? Or the rock song at the end? If you know PLLZZZZZ Let me know, i have been looking for them for ages.

  • @Devilke888 anyone ever answer you? im looking for the same thing

  • @16Canadian

    No i'm still looking:)

  • i watched this before, and i didn't enjoy it... but i want to rewatch it again because i want to give it a second chance, and i love the whole crusaders history, even if it makes christians look bad (I'm christian).... but still it's a really interesting history

  • @holyknight234 it doesnt make christians look bad, it just makes the Knights Templar look bad.

  • @Tobolococo that's true. crusade was a pretty bad thing

  • wat the song?

  • Do you know how Islam first came to be? Don't like Islam's own version? Here's the one we've learned in History.

Mohammed the Prophet was a trader. Like many Arabian traders, he went to the Byzantine Empire. There he found a magnificent, unified Empire, with a righteous Emperor. Then the Prophet, a god man, returned to Arabia and saw how bad it was. Women and children abused, many gods worshipped, Arabian tribes divided. He was shocked and took over the Orthodox goodness with Arabian tradition.

  • @JustFlemishMe

Yes indeed Byzantine Greek emperors were great

  • @Athlon2010 Yeah, I mean... Torturing was a rarity in Constantinople, crucifixion was forbidden, slavery was banned,... Justinianus the Great made even wiser laws. And the Hagia Sofia (obviously Aya Sofia, 'the Church of Holy Wisdom') was constructed by Byzantines, during Justinianus' reign.

  • @JustFlemishMe

Yes, Byzantine Greece was not the same barbaric with the rest of Europe. It was the cradle of civilization. Did you know that Constantinople city was the largest city in whole Europe ?

  • @Athlon2010 I can't say it's a surprise to me. But to say I really knew... I keep getting it mixed up with Rome, the ancient 'world capital'. And in fact, because of the Byzantines, the Russians are Christian nowadays. There was a civil war and the Emperor needed help. So he came to Prince Vladimir of Kiev, asking for his help. Vladimir accepted, but in exchange he wanted to marry the Emperor's sister. His Majesty agreed, but then the Russians were to be Christianized.

  • @Athlon2010 So, Vladimir sent a fleet with fine soldiers, the Russian reinforcements defeated the Byzantines' enemies and the Prince was baptized, followed by a lot of his conpatriots. Vladimir seemed to have changed completely. Before he had at least 4 spouses and 800 concubines. His whole harem was removed from court, he became godfather to a lot of children to be baptized and founded numerous churches and monasteries. Today, he's being honoured as Saint Vladimir of Kiev.

  • I love this music, the guitar and stuff! Why the hell isnt it on the soundtrack?!?! Doesnt fit the trailer though...

  • the music is terrible

  • I LOVE SALADIN :D

  • @RealSpecialAttack i always have chips.....

  • @RealSpecialAttack you love someone who killing in name of religion?

  • Random music is random

  • anybody knows the soundtrack from 0:34 to 1:00? much appreciate who can help

  • It depicts Islam perfectly: violence and war.

  • @HULLOHULLO15 really? thats your conclusion? I dont think it depicted any faith as being evil in the entire film. Get a life and get out of the little nest you live in

  • @HULLOHULLO15

The Jews were doing alright under Muslim rule at this time. Saladin and most other Muslim rulers allowed Jews to worship freely and conduct business like any other citizen. But typically when the Crusaders came in they expelled or killed Jews. Pope Innocent III was particularly harsh on the Jews. STILL THINK IT DEPICTS ISLAM AS WAR AND VIOLENCE?

  • @athiest97 I have a degree in Islamic studies from the University of Oxford, so I am more than qualified to competently argue that Islam is a vulgar, patriarchal, intolerant, cancer-like disease; Islamic governments should be taken out of power: they are oppressive in almost every way possible to human imagination.

  • @HULLOHULLO15 I highly doubt your degree if you assume islam to be a cancer like disease. Thats the worst answer i can get from an islamic scholar and the best answer from an islamaphobe. But your degree into some work here and look at the origins of islam which was a Unitarian force that helped arabia out of war and injustice. Uniting the people of the peninsula under one community. How strong is that!

  • @HULLOHULLO15 Islam is not understand taken degree of any University, it is region of peace if you are not belive see the country of USA . In USA Faster growing region is Islam . you know why ? then find you why ?

  • EXCELLENT IMAGE QUALITY
