  • IM BOUTH TO GET THIS SAME SET UP BUT SHOULD I GET THE RF T1500 OR THE T1000 AMP?????

  • @lexusgs100 Well if you plan on adding more subs later on I'd get the T1500 cause it could power 4 Type R's easily but if you just plan on keeping 2 for a long time I'd get the T1000. Mine birthed out at 1364 rms and it made the Type R's bang pretty hard for almost 2 years. When I sold everything it was still in great shape.

  • @lexusgs100 T1500

  • you should have put the port holes on top in instead of facing you. Because I had mine like that and in my truck and put it in a beat competition, and I only came out a 112. So the next competition I turn my port holes twards the sealing and added another 1000 watts and hit 142 with just two alpine R 12 and came first in my class. :)

  • @monopoly943 I made the ports like that cause I was just looking for ear loudness and sound quality. Spl isn't as loud to the ear but on the meter it is.

  • How Do You Like The Rockford Amps I Plan On Getting Two 15 Inch ALpine Type r's With A Rockford Fosgate Power t-2500bd

  • @LivinLoud901 They're pretty good. The t2500-bd should make the 15's bang pretty hard cause they're way underrated. I have a friend that had two of them and the birthsheet on both of them were 3000-3164 rms. The only thing I don't like is that they're too expensive. For less money you could get an amp that could do just as good or even better than a Rockford Fosgate. I recently sold this amp and I'm planning on getting either audioque or sundown audio amps for my next build.

  • @prodrifter21 how much did the whole system cost you?? this is the exact system i want haha

  • @0Tall0Surf0Vball0 Well the deck was $100, the amp with bass knob was $400, both subs were $200, rf 4 gauge wiring kit was $54, cap $50, the door and rear speakers were $100 and materials to build the box were $76, so $980 total. I got everything new except for the subs but they weren't even broke in when I got them.

  • name to music?

  • @Rodylicia Bme click by Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz

  • @prodrifter21 thanks!!!

  • When my friend used to have his xplod in his truck tht thing not the best sub but in his mtx thunder box n with his 1200 watt nitro amp it made the back windows flap like butterfly wings more than tht even!

  • @stlnbmx4life What kind of truck did he have it in?

  • Nice.

  • @WhiteMexican407 Thanks.

  • car with a modified massage chair... nice.

  • @sacredxsnipervids Yep ;)

  • Man... I had those same subs, except with a 1500 watt Rockford Fosgate. Too bad I blew one of the subs and fried the amp :( Miss them already.

  • @rendel555rs That sucks man.

  • what song is that? and sick system bro

  • @Brandonm2011 Thanks man, and it's bme click by lil jon and the eastside boys

  • how much DB's you think your hitting with them 12's?

  • @nelsona96 Well I could only tell if I had a Term-lab. I've been in a car that was built for spl and could hit 146 all day but I built my setup so it would be loud to the ear, but if I could guess I'd say maybe about 128-132db's at full tilt.

  • @prodrifter21 i think you hitting around 140db ..

  • @speakers11223 It could be a possibility but I highly doubt it.

  • I didnt know all that pwer came from a phone lol

  • @WeedBombProductions Hey don't underestimate the power of the phone cause now days they are like little nuclear reactors ;)

  • they need to hear dubstep in such cars

  • you must be slumpin hard nnice set up

  • Why is it that your subs remind me of sex? hahahahha

  • @GTisrichboi777 I have no idea lol.

  • @GTisrichboi777 maybe the similarity that you call them both orgasms :D

  • @Rando776 Haha nice man.

  • Hey, I just bought 2 12'' Alpine Type R's that say the run at about 600 Watts RMS each, I want to run them at about 1000 Watts RMS bridged, is that okay, or will I suffer the consequences of blown subs or clipping, etc?

  • @STLhooligans i put 2400 to my type R but i didnt clip it.. cliping is what YOU do to it not neccesarily the equipment, set your gains properly and you wont have any problems.

  • @STLhooligans I thought they are 500W RMS?

  • @raliux The SWR-1243D's are 600 RMS they're the new one's and I'm guessing those are the one's that STLhooligans has. The one's I have are the SWR-1242D's and are only 500 RMS.

  • @STLhooligans What snoop6604 is correct. If you set your gains properly your equipment should be fine and have no problems whatsoever. Google how to set gains with a multimeter to get an example on how to do it properly if you don't have an o-scope or a dd-1.

  • @prodrifter21 Ok thanks for the help, i'll post a video sometime soon, so you guys can tell me what you think. Just taking precautions as it was kind of expensive for the whole setup.. lol. And yeah, I have the SWR-1243D's.

  • @STLhooligans The 2011 Model's Are Actually Not Exactly 600 Watt's Their A little Bit More Than That I Don't Remember Exactly But I Think It's Like Between 20-50 Watt's More It Come's With Watting Certificate Same With The X Power & PDX Amp's You Should Be Good.

  • @jkarlos009 So running between 1000 Watts RMS and 1200 Watts RMS, i'll be fine?

  • @STLhooligans Yea But If You Have The X Power Or PDX Amp I Would Get The Remote Subwoofer Level Control Knob That Will Help With Lowering The Bass Instantly

Ex: On Some Song's Their's Too Much Bass And Then it Sound's Distorted That Knob Help's Alot Insted Of Going To The Back Or Truck And Lowering Manually You Got it Right Next To You This Also Helps Prevent Damage To The Sub's Its Also On The Deck WhatEver Just Trying Too Help

  • @jkarlos009 I have a bass knob, haven't connected it yet, would make it easier than going to Sub Output on the deck. Any idea why the deck keeps turning off and on every once in awhile, it'll just keep rebooting.

  • @STLhooligans sounds like you may be pulling too much power from your deck. Are your subs and other amplifiers hooked up to the preamp outputs in your deck? or to the speaker wires? Or there may be something wrong in your ignition or computer thats shorting out or turning off occasionally, did it do it with a stock deck?

  • @STLhooligans i got 2 alpine type e 10s that beat 2 rockford fosgate 12s with no prob

  • song please ?

  • i got the same set up, but i have a p1000 instead of a t1000, is there a big difference between them?

  • alpines hit hard, i got 2 10's type R's on a phosgate. pushes them boys hard.

  • good work bro....

  • Did you see a big difference between before the big 3 wire upgrade and now?

  • @ITZxDEBOx Well before I did the big 3 my voltage would drop to 9.7 volts, and after I did the upgrade it would only drop to 11.7 volts. So it made a 1 volt difference and the bass did sound a little more clear.

  • @prodrifter21 lol thats a 2 volt difference?

  • Sounds good

  • @ITZxDEBOx Thanks man.

  • debating on a rockford T1000 or a kenwood gouriki 1200, the 1200 is said to have more rms but i dont know, any advice? i have 2 12'' alpine type Rs (the new version, each 2 ohms)

  • @slashman53 So they're dual 2 ohms? If they are then get the Alpine MRX-M100 or the Alpine MRP-M1000, they produce 1000 rms at 2 ohms.

  • i'm gonna get 6 of those probably sealed :P

  • I love how everyone has a generic slot ported box and says its tuned to __ hz.

  • how big is your box man? and what is it tuned at?? very nice flex

  • @eppi1064 Thanks man and it's 4 cu. ft. and it's tuned to 30Hz.

  • Those floor matts give that car 25 extra horsepower

  • I seen it at the end... the only difference between ours is my deck... I have a jesen flip out and my rearview will not stay up for nothing... when the bass drop... I don't kno maybe cause I have a cap... or just the deck give off more power...

  • @faceit86s My rearview mirror used to go down when high frequency bass hit but over the time it's gotten tighter and won't move for nothing, I have a 15" Rockford Fosgate T2 now and it's way louder than this setup but the mirror still won't go down at all lol. And it also depends on the vehicle too, I have the Type R's in a sealed box (the ported box couldn't fit in the trunk) in my dodge neon now and the mirror bounces up and down a couple of inches.

  • hardest song, i ever heard, "DJ Billy E : crunkin' bass" but be warned. its not like most songs, its CONSTANT. not like hip hop or rap where is bumps with a beat, but it hits hard the whole time, will draw ur amp big time, i kept blowin fuses on old amp, before i got my 2 new ones with my capacitors

  • I got the same set up almost... put the subs in a ported box and watch the difference...

  • @faceit86s It's a ported box, the ports come out thru the front.

  • I just put 2 18 inch in any body know any songs that pound

  • why don't you take out the seat in the back?? i would of took it out and you can fit a lot bigger subs back there

  • @colecoco13 Cause I need to get the bigger subs first lol

  • hey man i was thinking of getting 2 type r subs with that amp ,but do u think my car can handle that without any upgrades to battery or alternator? i have a 08 dodge charger hemi?

  • @MrDexfactor87 Well the only upgrade I made was the Big 3 (type how to do the big 3 on here and there should be vids on how to do it) other than that I still have a stock battery and alternator and my truck handle's it pretty good. So just do the Big 3 and you should be fine.

  • How many farads is your cap you got in there?

  • @TheCz101 I think it was a 2.2 farad cap.

  • nice box, we did that to my cousins cvr's did you use herculiner, we built a sealed box 5.6 cu.ft. running 1100 watts into them, hits good, check out my vids of it, it will shake windows in a store, when i get a chance to make a vid of it i will post it and let you know.

  • @memphiskicksass Thanks man, and yep I used herculiner. Sweet be sure to let me know and I'll check it out.

  • what kinda box>?

  • @MrNielsen13 It's a vented box tuned to 30Hz.

  • whats the name of the song man?

  • @babypaul92 It's the slowed version of BME Click by Lil Jon.

  • am planning on getting the exact setup. can the alpine's take all the power of the 1000bd?

  • @mikestylz96 Well it all depends on the box, If you build the box right it can prlly take even more power than the t10001bd can produce. I built my box so that I could put 750 rms to each sub but I only gave them 600-682 rms.

  • @mikestylz96 I got 2 of the new alpine 12s running off fosgate T1000bdcp and they take the power. I didn't have the best luck though i blew one the first day. Just a bad sub from factory. but they keep heating up and you can smell them cooking after a couple songs. after a couple weeks it seemed to not hit as hard but i just sold the car with the system in it. So i don't have to worry about anymore, got a badass project in the works now, It'll be on here in a couple of weeks.

  • i got the zx1000.1 hooked up to 2ohms on a t2 12inch (the black one) the newer model and it pounds i wanted a t1000bdcp but it was like 250 more dollars but this kicker amp is a match with my t2

  • the zx1000.1 is rated 1000watts rms @2ohms and the t1000 is 1000 @ 2 and 1 ohm and both under rated but i have the old zx1000 the 2008 model i believe and the birth sheets 1287 rms @20hms so im sure the newer one produces more and the t1000bdcp is a beast both amps are pakin some power but the only diff is that the zx is not 1ohm stable but its still rated the same at 2ohms as the rf amp both are equally great but it comes down to wut u wanna pay and the older zx model are cheaper than the rfs

  • very nice, love the quality of your camera, lovely woofer porn

  • @ILLTOWN420 Thank you.

  • dam, dat shit looks like it hits BAAD!.. hey im goin to get a new set up pretty soon. My question is what is better when it comes to bass and sound quality. should i get the new Rockford Fosgate T1000.1bd or the Kicker zx 1000.1 because if im correct, they are both underrated. im only gonna get 2 12 p3s for now. Im pretty sure most people will say the rockford amp but i need opinions. Please feel free to write me a comment on info. no negative shit though.

  • @AGRG9 Youre correct theyre both underrated but I personally havent had any experience with the Kicker zx 1000 so I cant tell you anything about its sq but I can tell you that the Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bd is bada** when it comes to bass & sq, The Type Rs sounded really loud & clean compared to the old sony amp I had hooked up before. Right now I got the T1000 hooked up to a 15" T2 & its insane. It hits the lows really hard & clear. But its up to you on which amp to get theyre both good brands.

  • Do u like ur T1000? I'm goin to go pick one up at the shop next week. It's the T1000 1bdcp. I'm running a P700 now and its not enough. Just wondering if its worth it. Thanks. shit looks like it hits though. Nice.

  • @2dkor It's a pretty good amp and the T1000-1bdcp should be way better than mine.

  • nice! i have a type-r myself, but yours are really doin work

  • @321slapinBass Thanks man.

  • just out of curiosity where do u have the rockford amp grounded to. cause i got a ford truck like urs.

  • @memodedonachuy I have it grounded to the rear bolt that holds the backseat in place.

  • i hope that was 12.3 volts with the engine off...

  • @kwjacobler That's with the engine running.

  • @prodrifter21 damn dude, i think it might be time to either get a better alternator or add an alternator...not supplying a constant 12v will eventually fry the amp...look into it

  • @kwjacobler Well I've been running it like that for 7 months now and nothing's happened to the amp, I have the big three done with 1/0 gauge wire and the 1.7 farad cap but I might just get a battcap and hope that helps

  • @prodrifter21 your one of the lucky few then...i guess 12v running is better than 8v running...this guy here in Gainesville was running his system to the point where the engine kept turning off from lack of power and fried one of his amps (8v running), i also did the big 3 and run 1/0 with 3 aux optima yellow tops on the factory 130 amp alternator and i get 13.8-14.2 volts('98 F150), i just ordered an Ohio Generator 400 amp alt cuz im adding 3 more amps with 4 new subs

  • @kwjacobler Dang, a guy here also used to run his system down to 8v. He couldn't do full tilt cause the head unit kept shutting off. And that's cool, I wish my truck came with a 130 amp alt. Mine came with a crappy 90 amp alt, I'm hoping to upgrade it with a mechman alt whenever I get the money to do my big build.

  • im not trying to fry my system i down turn it up way loud like in the 30s or 40s lol i keep mine at like 15 - 17 my volume i mean

  • @twiztidjuggaloryanj Oh ok lol, the reason I turn it up so much is cause I got the loud, source level and all the other settings off. A guy that owns an audio shop told me to keep them off cause they cause distortion and will fry my all my mids, highs and lows so yeah.

  • @prodrifter21 loud as in like go thru my headunit settings and it says loud i should turn that off?

  • @twiztidjuggaloryanj i did and it jus sounded like shit haha i jus need newer subs and a capacitor or jus a batter for only my system

  • yea i aint trying to fry my system

  • haha nice decals buddy haha flaming out, and i didnt know dice hangers could get any chessier haa! sik setup tho im waitin to hook up my type r to 1400w alpine mono amp!

  • @kyleoscar What decals? and thanks man, you should check out my new setup. 15" Rockford Fosgate T2 with the T1000-1bd amp, way louder than this setup and another setup I had with 4 12's.

  • do u like that amp and setup??? i work at best buy so i get the type Rs 12s for 95 bucks. and im thinking of either getti a jl 1000.1 amp the old one not new one. what u think???

  • @bayboss88 I love my setup, it's the best amp I've ever owned and hasn't failed on me yet. I've had this setup for about 7 months and I haven't had any problems at all, and either amp should be good for the Type R's.

  • would one type r like this with a Rockford amp that does 500 rms still bang hard? I don't want it to be god-like just a great bass system..

  • @bsiffy Yep it should bang pretty hard.

  • Awsome system man... But does that capacitor do anything besides read voltage? I'm thinking of getting one bcuz I can't afford a new alt/battery right now...is that cap worth it or should I save it for a new battery? Ty

  • @Gunbowzer You should save up for a battery. The capacitor I have doesn't do anything, it just reads the voltage. It was cheap that's why I got it but I found out that it didn't help much.

  • Nice setup bro, sounds good! I've got the same AMP on two 15" type R's. It gets down but needs more power

  • @MyLimpIsGangsta Thanks man.

  • Those look ported with that excursion they bumpin hard, i got a pair aswell ported, what do you got your amp settings at, lowpass, bass eq and subsonic, Thanks!

  • u dont mess around with type r's man those things are lethal with the right tuning

  • @fennygolf Haha thanks man.

  • @prodrifter21 mind subin to my page im going 4 12s soon

  • @fennygolf Alright man I will, sub to my page too if you don't mind.

  • @prodrifter21 done and done

  • u think the old models with the thick rubber cone could pound close to that

  • @HxITSxFrxOxmThExBONG Well idk, I haven't listened to the old model one's but I bet they pound pretty close.

  • holy fuck thats loud

  • @TheBigmike5 Yesser.

  • wired to 1 ohm?

  • @MRxDAZZLE Yesser.

  • @prodrifter21 fickin sick, i got the same subs just had some clipping goin on, so i ordered a hifonics 1200.1d and im wiring them to 1 ohm hope they pond again =D

  • @MRxDAZZLE Awesome man, make sure you do the big 3 with that amp.

  • @prodrifter21 do you know if i could wire them to 2 ohms? if not what is an amp you would recommend/? kinda on a budget

  • @MRxDAZZLE Well you could if you have the dual 2 ohm subs but if you have the dual 4 ohm subs you can only wire them to 1 ohm or 4 ohm. What's your budget?

  • @MRxDAZZLE um around 300$, i was thinking of wiring them to 1 ohm is that safe for the subs? , i was looking at amps safe for 1 ohm but idk

  • @MRxDAZZLE I got my subs wired down to 1 ohm and I haven't had any problems with them. Get a Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D, it does 1000rms @ 1 ohm and it only costs $279.99 at woofersetc. com

  • @prodrifter21 awesome thanks i will look into!

  • @MRxDAZZLE No problem man.

  • I got the exact same subs and amp bro. check out my vids.

  • @ZandD Dang bro your subs move a lot of air. What's the specs on your box? Oh and how low does your voltage drop?

  • @prodrifter21 my box is 4.7 cubes tuned to 32 hz. And since i've added my Kinetik battery my voltage goes from 14 down to 13.6. Before the kinetik it used to drop down to 11.9 though.

  • @ZandD Awesome, I might have to build a bigger box now and get a Kinetik battery cause my voltage drops down to 11.5 sometimes lol.

  • @prodrifter21 good idea then lol

  • that amp is a beast i have the same one....

  • @Blue87stang Yep it is a beast. How much does your voltage drop with this amp?

  • Real nice. How do you like that amp? thinking about that with 2 12 w3s

  • @lobos14m It's a great amp, best one I've ever had. It puts out more than the rated power so it'll power them w3s pretty good.

  • Sony Ericsson kicks ass

  • whats this song?

  • @Cookiemunstr420 Bme click by lil jon

  • Comment removed

  • thats nice. lots of bass. haha.

  • nice bumps

  • @agonz91 Thanks
