well there were some glitches in this game some walls didnt tess at all just 4 walls in fact and direct x 11.1 in windows 8 you get 20% faster frame rate compared to windows 7

Everything in this game looks like plastic and the retarded fov makes everything look blown up to huge size.

No decent AA, shit performance, poor use of tesselation, still poor textures.

The original crysis still looks better , and it just looks like shit compared to bf3

@alilsneaky Crysis AA was awful, and it didn't even affect foliage. The Textures in Crysis 2 are as Hi-res if not higher than Crysis, and the poor optimization still beats Crysis's optimization by a long shot.

Everyone says Crysis has better graphics, but honestly it doesn't. It may be a better game, but Crysis 2 still looks better.

the game can be on 720p {(with your display stiings on 1080p}} but you must have HDMI cable wide screen at least {32 inch} and with that you have the same thing with better frames by far

@mz0196 Anything below 1080p isn't worth gaming and 360 isn't a real 1080p, hell, I sit at 2560x1600 (1600p fyi). I'm talking about the level of detail, shaders, tesslation, textures and draw distance. The 360 is on-par with average level PC standards of 2005. High end gaming today maxxed on a PC can't be touched by the 360. Developers of multiplatform releases have their settings dropped for consoles even though they're trying to push as much as they can out of the aging PS3/360.

@mz0196 a 360 does not hold at 60 frame rates, it and a PS3 are notorious for dropping to 30s on a near constant basis. Also, 60 is the cap on most TV's because they don't go above 60 Hz. I usually hit around 90-105 FPS on full load with Crysis 2 and 120 FPS capped. Most standard computers won't drop below the 60 mark for high end gaming today and to play at the low level of detail a 360 is at, I could build a cheapo rig for $125 to do that job.

@mz0196 Reason 1: They used a different engine .Reason 2: PC Maxed out beyond Xbox360 and 360 isn't maxed out. Reason 4: On pc recording, gameplay is different and takes away fps unlike 360 with a screen capture card it doesn't take away fps and saying pc version sometimes getting slower is very unlikely if the settings are the same(which probably isn't the case).( i might be wrong on some points but feel free to correct me)

Dude a decent gaming PC will always be able to pull out more frames then the consoles. The consoles are limited by their hardware so if a game pulls out 30fps on average it will always pull out an average of 30fps, whereas a gaming pc can be upgraded to produce even more fps, thus smoother gameplay. The guy that uploaded this video obviously does not have top of the line hardware which is why it's not "smooth" as you describe. But a good gaming pc will run this as smooth as butter.

@WiShOfPain nope man 9500 gt is dx10 i think , its an old model, but good enough to run crysis 2 at medium settings :) just because you have dx 11 installed in your machine doesnt mean your graphics card automatically use it. Dx 11 are the new geforce 500 series and the radeon 6000 series. But i wouldn't worry , this is just the beginning of Dx11 , trust me wait and you will see that these graphics will be absolete, wait for the next gen of pc's

i have two 5850 also, but I use in 770 mhz / 1125 mhz.

Performance in ultra/1080p was amazing, but I put the object in EXTREME, to turn off tesselation. Tesselation is dam heavy, in some scenes, this effect only take about 50% of performance. With tessaltion off (but the rest in ultra), I have 60 frames in about 90% of time, with a minimum of 45. It´s much better than playing with tess on.

I like to overclock the cpu, have a i5 2500k @ 4.6 ghz now. Homever, I don´t like to overclock much the gpu due temp issues, big TDP; and GPU´s are more sensible do over voltage than cpu´s. So, I prefer the way it was now.
