@SpiralPegasus Well, I probably love FM synthesis even more now than I did back then so I think the MD chip (and similar stuff in the arcades) will always be special to me. I'm into all kinds of game music (see my playlists) but the older sound chips are what I'm most excited about finding new stuff for and that's not gonna change.

I dont know why games devs these days (if it fits) create the music using limited technology such as this then when they have finished port it to something better, just listen to some of the stuff from oc remix for prime examples of that.

Wonder Boy in Monster World final level music really set the scene for me, I remember playing it when I was like 6 and thought it was fucking awesome.

Shame I could never actually kill the final boss until I recently downloaded it, bwaha.

DUDE Mickey's world of Illusion just has one of the best soundtracks PERIOD.

LOVE THE CLOUDS, the library, the moving floor, the cork ride, and the final boss music is just creepy.

Yay Sonic 3!! That game has the best invincibility tune. It's actually the ringer for my phone
