He always had a deep voice. He was a mostly a falsetto singer. I remember seeing him on Ed suliven, laugh In, and other shows as a child. I even had one of his albums. Live at Toyland? what a shame I never got to meet him. Would have liked to get drunk with the great novelty icon. May he rest in peace.
@StuckinSecond6 When he was younger his voice was much higher, giving him that ability. When he was singing in this video he didn't go as high because he was a lot older.
I would love to meet him...just once atleast/: ofcourse i was only 1 when he died...sooo..that wouldnt work out/: lolz..RIP tiny tim we all love you-3
He was just born too late ---- he loved the musical styles of the 20's but was born in 1932 and therefore was auditioning for gigs in the early 40's.. At least he did have a loyal fan following and he was a household name, even if he was misunderstood . What a gentleman, though ! Impeccable manners and genuine kindness.
Aww. I love him. Even though hes clearly not healthy in this video, i still see the young Tiny in him. He was a gentle, honest man. And i hope i can meet him in heaven one day. RIP
If you are asking if Tiny Tim was a racist because he calls the crooner music of the 1920s and 1930s "White Man's Soul" , the answer is no, not at all, far from it and anything but. He was very knowledgeable about that era and style of music and expresses a real affinity and appreciation for the the singers.
He did not die the day I recorded the interview. A couple hours after at the Ukulele Expo 1996 concert he walked onstage and before he could sing a note, Tiny Tim suffered a heart attack and fell into the front row, but he did not die. He died a couple months later.
@vidsync He died from another heart attack two months after the first one. He was warned not to perform, because he had such a high risk of having a heart attack, but he did anyways and suffered the second heart attack, which killed him
Wow.. hes actually so normal.. and quiet eloquent..

@StuckinSecond6 His voice got really deep when he was older, search up Livin' In The Sunlight and go to the 4 and a half minute one.

Probably auditioning in the early 1950s, not early 40s when he would have only been 9, 10, 11 years old.
